  1. A lot of Boys would play AAU all over the country if they could afford it. It would be nice & all teams could play more competitive.
  2. Pendleton County has a tough schedule this year but they have: 1 senior, 6 juniors, 6 sophmores, plus... They will give it all they have they didn't give up last year & won the District (with this same bunch of boys). Also with the same talent as the Florence boys they have Moeves, Greene, Ferrell., Cooper, & Jones. A few sophmores can come off the bench & give them a boost. A tough schedule they can handle & give it all they have.
  3. Coach Simms has done a fine job. The boys that are there now will give it their best shot. They showed the District last year what they are capable of doing & I think they will do fine this year. As an old saying I heard "the future is the future & now is now".
  4. Congratulations to two local young men; Michael Petering, Campbell County & Timothy Cooper, Pendleton County, for their first round of 79. They might have missed it by one but they done a great job representing their school & team. :thumb:
  5. Pendleton County played good but I have seen them play better. They had a few bad holes and it cost strokes. Great Team all of them will be back expect for one senior, T. Steele. L. Weaver - 76, P. Ramsey - 76, T. Cooper - 84, & N Jones - 85 Great job Coach Stinson!
  6. Pendleton County had a great camp. They were 8-1 going into the the last day tournament, lost to Pikeville in a last second shot. They played great as a team. Everyone stepped up & played ball. Ten games in less than 48 hours is great & with only 7 players in 6 of the games than 8 players.
  7. Just wanted to know if there was a KHSAA rule on this. Not a big deal!
  8. To make myself clearer if a boy or girl is in High School & is going to become a mother or a father "while in school" are they eligible to play basketball? I am not meaning an adult. I am talking about a 15 or 16 year old child! :flame:
  9. Just a simple question that some one might know the official answer to: If a basketball player is going to become a mother or father, are they eligible to play basketball?
  10. Congratulations Wildcats! Both teams played great ball. Wildcats really wanted this win & they dug deep. Great game by coaches & players! Sr-Harden-17 Sr-Myers-16 So-Cooper-16 So-Greene-6 So-Ferrell-8 All around great playing.
  11. None of the players that quit or dimissed came back. The one that returned was injured. There were not any Seniors that played with the JV team except when playing Varsity ball.
  12. :thumb: PC never gave up. Great game to watch. Congrats to the Wildcats.
  13. Great comment! What counts is the official stats, a parent might think their son/daughter has a steal or rebound,etc...., but when coaches go over the stats & the videos they keep track.
