Will be mid 30's to start summer practice. Somerset has a little advantage with the #'s because they have 500 9-12 and Wburg has 203 9-12. Had 3 seniors this year but only 10 boys in senior class. Somerset should be slit favorite with LC 2nd and rest of the pack pretty even. I think LC had the best team this year but let it slip away. They could actually be the best team next year also. Corbin should go 5-2 in non district...Lex Christian lost alot, Oldham wasnt very good last year, Pulaski should be a win, South and Middlesboro, Corbin a slite favorite and Bell Rock , Corbin a slite underdog.

I may be wrong but I still cant see them beating Bell or Rock next year.

Not sure what Corbins no district schedule is but I cant see them beating Bell or Rock.Maybe 4-3 non district record.Their district will again be weak. Garrard and Wayne may be able to give them a decent game but not Casey. 1st playoff game at home should win 2nd game at home will be a toss up dont think they can make it past round 3.

Believe I was wrong. I hear they are playing Breathitt week 2 along with Lynn Camp, Bell.. Not sure who the 4th non-district game is.

I,m not real sure about his resume but I believe his 1st year at Montgomery County he was left a good team by Paul Rains and went 8-3 and lost 1st round of playoffs but only 8-32 after the 1st year.and dint make playoffs at all. What were his records before Montgomery and were all was he.

I hear Cotton Adams is not coaching and Bobby Gibbs will be the O-line coach. Al Ysidro will probably coach BUT could end up at Williamsburg with his old friend Jim Black.

I,ve been to a few Banquets at other schools and have heard other people talk about their banquets and you know other players around the state really love and care for their coaches and the coaches actually love and care for their players also.

How many people attend the banquet? How much does it cost? Where do they hold the banquet? Sounds like its a pretty big deal. I know during season the Seniors all go to Hooters every Thursday night for pregame meal and its paid for by boosters so I' say the banquet is something else.

I completely agree with judgeone...Whitley lost the least of any team in the district and should make a run at district championship next year. I agree with you Les also however its not a bold prediction since the district is 3 and 17 since Whitley went 4A. Whiley has had a 1st and 2 4th finishes.

Ohio is pretty good also and have more D I schools than any other state.

I agree !!!!!!! 7 out of last 11 teams to make to finals other than Louisville schools come from this region and 5 out of last 6.

Dont think its fulfilling...Breathitt and Shelby I believe were 1 year contracts..I know for sure they were looking to fill week 2...Think there is any chance CORBIN could get on the schedule

Understand...What will the Redstorm/Colonel faithful feel is successful...???? Its hard to look at what Campnell did and say he was unsuccessful.

Actually saw Cland play 3 times..Cland did throw it ALOT more this year with King calling the plays...It will be Gentrys offense at Whitley..guess time will tell if he throws 15 times a game or 50 times a year..I can see wide receiver at Whitley next year being a lonely place. :laugh:

Colonel/Red Storm fans should be excited..Whitley will open it up and throw the ball 35 to 40 times a year......and that folks was my 1000th post

Strange...Whitley doesnt even have school Monday. Do you know who interviewed?
