I believe he coaches O-Line and by name is Offensive Coordinator but King calls all the plays on Saturdays.

Are all games played at Corbin?

I think Roger Gentry......dont think Black or Rains applied...I maybe wrong..probably am..may not be though..but I could be..wrong...or right..who knows :dancingpa...Merry New Year

Will interviews start Monday the 26th. Does anyone know who the committe is.

If Black and Rains apply it will be a tough decision. If neither apply Gentry may have a chance. I'm just not sure who has applied.

Just heard he was getting out of it. Also think he is one of the high school applicants.

I dont think Srewart was ever in the mix but I hear he is taking over Whitley County Middle School football.

What are those two names?????

And what would that be....i think coaches nominate and then voted on by other coaches

Large School division.. Bell, Knox, Middlesboro,Corbin, Clay Small School Division..Harlan, Evarts, Cumberland, Pineville, Williamsburg

Is there a selection committee or is LA the selection committee? If there is one who is on it? Will they select the coach or narrow it down for LA to pick?

Didnt mean these werent good coaches just there has to be some other good ones apply besides the ones we have mentioned

I dont think Rains will leave until his kids get out of school...the main reason he went to private I think Gentry lobbying for over a year will really hurt him and he doesnt throw the ball.. Black may be the front runner but you have to think that there is some very good coaches that will be interested

Not sure where he is now or what he is doing. Last I heard he was coaching in Ohio, but any chance Bernie Bare would come back or even be wanted?

I had mentioned Bryand along with Roger Gentry from Univer.of Cumberlands on an earlier post....and also Mike Whittaker...Any of these would be good choices but there also may be someone else no one is thinking about right now that may be looking for a change..any other ideas???????

Trinity and X usually have over 100 freshman. How do you keep that many happy and do they divide them up into 2 or 3 teams so more kids get to play?

As I had stated before I felt the 1st article was tacky and unfair. So I choose not to get over it, especially when people tell me I need to.However I do appreciate true hound being worried about my feelings. I think everyone on here needs to do a better job of stating their opinion and not attacking other for having one. Good luck to Coach Campbell.

No one really knows but Anderson and Campbell....But Coach Campbell basically said in the paper it came down to getting kids out and keeping them out. They { Super } I guess didnt feel he was doing a good job at that.

University of Louisville, Whitley County High School Maybe he didnt ask his players not to comment because he didnt think he had to worry about a newspaper reporter sticking a mic or notepad in their face since it had never happen. What if a newspaper reporter had ask LC players right after the Paintsville lose what Coach Mitchell had said what he said at half time. Is that what its going to come to in High School athletics after each game and each team meeting , telling 15, 16, 17 and 18 year old kids not to comment about what was said. Nothing ANYONE can or will say will convence me this was right
