  1. You are probably right but from 75-87 Lville won 9 out 13 Championships so not sure why state teams would want to give them a chance to get 2 in which they did the in 88. From 89 to 96 Lville only had the chance to get 1 team in and did every year except 1.97 until now Lville has had the chance to get 2 teams in and have 6 out of 8 years. Lville teams have won 24 out of 30 4A championships with X and Trin winning 20 of those. Basically 4A is pretty even if you take X and TRin out...3A is pretty even if you take out Boyle and FTH and 1A is pretty even if you take out Bwood and Dville.
  2. I think sort of right. I believe the state 4A and the Lville 4A played each other for the over all 4A. Basically Lville was in its own regions...which geographically it should be. I think they split them so there could be a possibility of an all Lville final and draw a bigger crowd.
  3. I think 6 classes would be OK but 217 is ridiculous :flame:
  4. Looking back I saw over 50 picks for Pikevlle and 4 for Harlan...3 were from Harlan and 1 from Lynn Camp....I dont know much about Pikeville but Somerset is very solid on both sides of the ball and they also have very good special teams...For Pikeville to win they will have to keep the chains moving, make NO turnovers and limit Somersets big plays and that will give them a chance to win.
  5. There is no comparision to this years Somerset team and last years. They are much much better.
  6. Cawood, Cland and Evarts enrollment of KHSAA website add up to 1488 which would put them around 400 over 3A. I cant see them being 3A. I think they are building the school to house 1800.
  7. The few Harlan Co. people I have talked to dont seem to think the new school will open before 2008. The school should be 4A.
  8. that would mean jackson co would have 271 freshman...guess this will be their last year for a while
  9. jackson county with over 650 students grades 9-12 and corbin close to 600 students in all A...doesnt seem fair for the schools that have 100, 200 students..but as in everything else $$$$$$$
  10. the Better 4 AAAA schools in lville are the same each year....take x,trinity out and its pretty even every year....and i dont think the lexington schools could ever meet in the finals..there always in same region..i think
