Dude why don't you talk about the game instead of worrying about that stuff. For a bunch who acts like all they do is right you sure spend alot of time defending yourself.

How many FTH players play both ways? I said in an earlier post at least 40 players would play during a close game. Is this close to right? Will they chance 11 players from defense to punt return, from offense to punt. Will any starters play on kickoff and kick return. If Whitley loses the game I don't think it will be because of conditioning.

Then why did you. FTH and Bwood are magnet football schools. Kids who can play football choose to go there for a better opportunity to win a championship. I would guess no 6-6 260lbers go to Cov. Latin. The schools and communities are outstanding. I have seen Highlands play many times I can be certain they will not be small. THey will be lean, fast and well coached. They will play at least 40 players in a close game and 70 in a blowout and thats without Freshman. Something I have learned over many years of coaching and being a high school football fan is ALL players and coaches work their tails off. Even the ones who havent won 17 championships. Whitley will have to play an outstanding game to win. No turnovers, ball control and pressure on the qb which will be difficult because Highlands can run the ball well also.

Can anyone post a roster for Highlands? How many seniors and how many players play both ways. The QB has 19 td's along with 9 ints. They have over 2500 passing and rushing yards so they are far from one deminsional. Every football fan I have talked to in this area, which is several, are very excited about a program the caliber of Highlands coming to Whitley. What class is Austin Collinsworth and does his dad usually make the trips to the games. I saw him at Norris lake a couple of summers ago and seems like he had about 6 kids. Are the others coming up or older?

A wish man once said you cant compare scores. But, comparing scores, Woodford 24-17 over Bryan Station and 33-54 lose to JC. Whitley a 47-0 win at Woodford. Whitley being at home, possible wet, muddy, cold. Whitley will have to not turn it over, controll time of postion and win or play even in special teams.

Most of the players on the 7th 8th this year were 7th graders. Not sure of how exact numbers fell but at 1 time 16 of 23 where 7th. Good group of 6th graders,and 5th. The 8th grade group is the smallest.

Hayden was the main difference in the game. LCA had more speed than I anticipated. Special teams was the 3rd determining factor and did I mention Hayden. Rollins is a very good player for WHS. It appeared Coach Rains ran away from him and doubled him quit often. I certainly didn't feel LCA was more physical than Wburg. Did Coach Rains son have any stats for the game?

Where will the Estill Breathitt game be? Any Estill fans, is Byron Smoot still an assistant?

Great season for Lynn Camp... Didnt Wagner score LC only TD against LCA in 4th quarter....#30 for LCA was playing in the 4th...against Wburg...sorry that LCamp has had players hurt..had 3 losing seasons..things havent gone well...It is what it is...privates have the advantage...Dave Mitchell, Jerry Herron, or Joe Blow could coach at private schools and win games...

I,ve tried to look it up on here but have been unable to find it. In Coach Rains explanation of events I thought he stated that there was a football player involved. Is there any where I can find that testimonial

Guess it is a class program but didn't they get busted last year for paying kids to come to school there who where athletes.I think maybe a football player or 2. I know they had a song and dance as to what really happened but it is what it is.

Watching wburg play several times and Hazard on film a few...I think Wburg is better. A wise man once said you cant base games on "commen opponents" or scores from other games because teams match up differently. I personally think Wburg matches up with LCA very well. If Wburg wins they will have to win the TO battle and make 1 or 2 big special teams plays.

Could do away with districts. Have 4 regions in each class, take top 4 teams from each region and play top 4 from other region. Scheduling would be simple playing 7,8, or 9 region games. Bad thing only have 1, 2 maybe 3 non-region games so not alot of out of class games to pick from.

Good thing they arent playing last year. Wburg will be an underdog. I think the teams are very evenly matched but D.Hyden the runningback\LB is the difference.

I was little surprised at score. I think 2 in or 3 with 1seed getting a bye.

There will be some VERY good 2 vs 3 games. There will be several blowouts but so what. If you knock it to 2 teams it just shortens the season 1 week.

Basketball and baseball take all.....why is that OK?
