I referred to all of NKY which has a minimum of 5 D1 player's coming up, IMO. According to the prep sports site, the underclassmen have 4 of the top 5 player's in every statistical category...so we'll agree to disagree. However, I did count your favorite player as one of the strong seniors. Good luck tomorrow!

A small handful of good seniors, a couple of very good seniors, and one that I felt would be an early D1 commit...overall, not a strong senior class at all and nowhere one of the best ever, but your loyalty is admirable. The underclassmen in this area have been the dominant player's overall this season. As for the game, I am so glad it's on a neutral floor so neither team has that edge. It's a nasty (in a good way) rivalry and one team's season is going to end way too soon...and some classy HS seniors' careers will also be over prematurely...and that stinks as well. I hope the key players have the opportunity to play the entire 32 minutes. I'll take NCC in a dogfight with their press, Bird TO's, being a big factor.

I agree with ya Shock...Ryle has a trap game before they have a rematch with Boone and many are already looking to Thursday's game.

Boone was the favorite at the beginning of that season, but not heading into the region...they had 10 or 11 losses at that point. I can say it's been at least 7yrs...before that I would have to defer to someone else.

I think HHS did something very similar.

If they haven't been seen, or have the experience, they are not ready for this stage. Unlike in the past, BC fans have usually sat back and wouldn't talk about it until "after" they won...not sure why this year is different.

I agree with pretty mcuh all of what you said...however, Crane is no longer at BW.

Boone took down NDA in '06 when NDA was the "HUGE" favorite and 4 of Boone's top 7-8 were Frosh. Last year, Boone certainly was way under the radar. This season, no team is under the radar, IMO. I personally don't think Boone is that big of a favorite. There are "10" (two on each team) key player's on the top 5 teams. If "any" one of those player's are injured/sick, in foul trouble, or does not play well...that particular team's chances decrease in a "very" big way. Just like last year...playing on a college floor can cause a team headaches as well...this environment favors the "hot" team, best conditioned athletes, and the team with perimeter shooters that can adjust to shooting without a backdrop. My heart is with Boone, but with how much they rely on Moss' 25+ pts and Sandlin being the lone ball-handler...I'm a bit concerned about having enough gas in the tank for two tough back-to-back games (assuming they will see a lot of press). Last year, Boone had two capable ball-handlers so they didn't see much press therefore back-court depth and conditioning weren't an issue. This tournament has more parity than I've seen in 5-6yrs...and will be a treat.

Last year's team was totally different than this year's team. They had no size so for the first time Fookes was forced to go with a 4-guard offense and open up the floor. This year...it's "toss it up to Moss and let her go get it". Davis, Sellers, Shrout, and everyone else are now role players...even though they are so critical to the success of the team...role player's are overlooked. With Moss they are 19-3...without Moss they are probably around .500... They are winning with her so the role player's get overlooked, but if they are sub .500 without her...the whole team would be overlooked...so it's a double-edge sword. I've said several times...opponents need to stop putting all of their focus on Moss because she will get hers...the focus needs to be on "the little engine that could".

Good golly...it's getting the pub because it was a blowout and the starters still played over 70% of the minutes. This margin is never good, but it is totally obvious it was meant to take a previous loss out on their next opponent...please read the attached article and the quotes. Ya can't compare the other 5+ games, with 80pt margin of victory's, until you compare the stat lines. It's never good, but if the starters sat the majority of those games...it's not nearly as bad as pounding a team into the ground with your top player's. I would even be okay with the starters playing 70% of the game in a blowout, but for goodness sakes, play the game at a snails pace and do not demorilize the opponent.

4 of the last 6...the 33rd hasn't had the most talented teams...they've just seemed to get hot and have strung together some wins at the right time.

Being as close to the program as I am it just gets old hearing the same stuff just a different day...and the jabs after jabs after jabs...good golly! I actually had a person tell me on Sunday "I've watched Nell for years and I cannot believe she stooped so low and let Moss on her team'...I couldn't even dignify that comment with a response. Oh well, I guess after all these years old Nell has softened up a bit...nothing wrong with that...the kids are still responding.

Not a Boone fan...just trying to get something started on here...true Boone fans know that "nothing" is guaranteed and would never make a statement like that. Boone has won 3 out of the last 6 titles as the underdog...In 2 of the other 3yrs they were the favorite...and lost. I keep repeating myself, but the favorite is not where you want to be.

The region is a blind draw...NDA actually drw Dayton the last time this happened.

It's good they had to play with her on the bench...they need to know they are capable of playing without her...also, a good team must be able to win ugly games.

Sounds like SH either needs to stop hacking or work on free throw shooting...or perhaps both.

The E-town parents probably enjoyed the heck out of it, but if one of the key players would have gotten injured during this game...they would have been calling for his head...

Janszen is a very good player and I don't really think people are over-looking her. There was a discussion within the past week or so talking about how she is such an incredible athlete...perhaps the "team" is getting over-looked...which is always dangerous. It sounded as if Moss sat a lot...if she picked up a 2nd foul in the 1st half I know she sat until the 3rd qtr...it also sounded as though she didn't play with much desire...which I'm sure got her an earful during a teachable moment. Good luck the rest of the way.

Shock...we don't agree on a whole lot, but I'll sport one of those shirts and gladly explain to people what it means when they ask...what a shame? Someone please educate me...I met a kid a few years ago that played for Ft Knox and she was a military dependent...is this HS made up of predominantly military families?

He's been to the school and unless something very recently changed...he is coming to BW.
