  1. This was a big win for the Braves at Owen County. Congrats GC!
  2. Someone's not a sourpus after a loss. Sheez. :taz:
  3. Who was officiating. The refs don't determine games FYI.
  4. They don't get in down low enough at all. A good inside came opens up all those 3's WV is obsessed with. I bet the shooting % when the ball is thrown inside and kicked back out for a three is so much better than off the dribble or swinging it around the perimeter and having to turn to the basket to shoot.
  5. They had no answer for Vice. W-town did not shoot alot of threes. Good game plan by W-Town.
  6. Final. #22 Livingood leads the way with 15 for the Braves. He is their 7 different leading scorer on the season. #23 Thompson chipped in 13 while #12 Caleb Kinmon followed with 12.
  7. Grant and SK are tied for the one seed. If WV beats W-town then it is a 3 way tie.
  8. I can remember seeing the faces of the Paintsville players when they figured out they were going to lose. Pittman knocked down a player and ran his mouth and I swore there was about to be a brawl. Geez. Very physical game. But entertaining to say the least.
  9. Williamstown just doesn't have the fire power.
  10. Ok, so does anyone but Socrates above me want to give me an explanation. I know the bigger team doesn't always win, but I know Owen can ran with Gallatin. Marston can run with anybody. If anyone can't I guess I'll have to start going to Sunday school again and then maybe it will pop in my head.
  11. I didn't know Bible stories related to basketball. Looking for more of an in-depth response.
  12. You are right...when he actually makes a call. The calls he makes are good, but he, IMO, locks up during the game. I rarely see him blow the whistle.
  13. No offense to Gallatin County, they always play so hard, but how in the world do they beat Owen? Owen starts 6-7, 6-5, and has another 6-6 off the bench. From what I've seen from Gallatin, the only height they have is Maddox. Can someone tell me how they matched up with Owen? I must be missing something. Congrats on the win GC!
  14. At W-Town. I'm going to say Williamstown by 2.
  15. This is definitely a rivarly. Both teams are in the same district but even more in the same county...This is always a huge game if you couldn't tell by how big the crowd was! :dancingpa
  16. Final. If Grant wins Tuesday against Walton they lock in the #1 seed for District! :ylsuper: Adam Prince came off the bench leading Grant with 16 points. Balanced scoring for the Braves with Thompson had 14, Davis with 10, Kinmon with 7 and 14 rebounds. Livingood did an excellent job at point while Kinman and Loomis came off the bench giving the Braves a spark!
  17. This game is at Grant so Grant by 6+. Should be a fun game with a big crowd. Always is between this cross town rivarly!
  18. He might be one of the better players in the region let alone 6th man. You can't stop his stroke. His intensity is irreplaceable.
