Great game tonight and Congrats to the Camels! Fun game to watch with great players making great plays. Here's hoping there's a rematch in Alexandria in November.

I'm guessing SK is going to air it out. Their running game was highly effective last week (good thing with the wind), so CC will be looking for that. Big plays should be there early and often. We shall see if SK makes enough.

SK showed in the Ryle game that being 1 dimensional on O will not cut it. They shut them down to the point it was a yawn fest when they had the ball. Not saying CC is that way but from what I understand, Durham is their only horse, that's not good enough to hang. EVERYONE was begging for SK to play someone that they deemed fit for a 6A school, they did. EVERYONE (except UK#1 fan) picked them to lose, they threw a shut out. Not many are expecting them to do much Friday night. I don't know what else the boys from Independence have to do to sway opinions. I guess crossing the Red Sea might be an option.

Agreed. The winner has a huge edge in the district. SK will have Boone and Dixie left which the way they're playing now shouldn't be a problem. Believe CC still has Ryle. Might be an issue. Where's that game being played?

Here's a thought, how about everyone give SK their do justice without the hatred toward UKFAN#1? They literally kicked Ryle's butt tonight. Game wasn't even close. He raises my eyebrow too with some posts but everyone should realize he doesn't represent Independence. Better team won!

Ryle has done nothing so far, couple first downs but nothing serious. SK dominated the first half but has left a couple scores on the field

SK 28-13. Don't know what all the fuss is about in the rivalry side, the Ryle faithful should LOVE SK. If it weren't for a couple Pioneers there would be no Travis Elliott.

Head coaches/offensive coordinators have an offensive style that they like to run. The good ones adjust their system to the athletes and players they have every year. With that being said, the same should go for the opponent they play week to week. Add different plays, same plays different formations, new formations. I think it's easier to mask what a team likes to do on defense moreso than offense. You don't have to play as aggressive against a weaker opponent.

No disrespect to CC but the NCC team that played last night could not have been the one that lost that bad to the Camels. From what I understand, Campbell is basically a 1 man show and they did a decent job of slowing an SK offense that can hurt you several ways. Think much better things to come for the Breds if they continue to play that way.

Huge plays made by both teams last night. Sampson's grab I'm the end zone was a man's play, unbelievable. Franzen's 1st long catch over the middle on 3rd down. Huesman's catch on 3rd and 8 on the sideline, how he got a foot in I will never know. Of course the muffled snap on 4th down.

I was more impressed with Swanson running Hayes down from the opposite side of the field on his long run. The kid was flat out jetting across the field!
