  1. Bottom line: records don't matter in March ---> the team who's is playing the best then, will go to state!!! Other than that Holmes is undefeated in the 9th region, OT or not.
  2. Depth stamina who gives a hoot W or L --> Birds L :laugh:
  3. Can they (Holmes) hop or what, my son and I and our friend Marcus couldn't believe how strong Highlands players were. We were joking, Varsity Blues.
  4. I stand corrected for thinking Holmes would blow Highlands away and McGraw is a heck of a player, I am man enough to say this. We will see Highlands in the regions. Now I am going to give my opinion on the game. Tired legs means the Dawgs had stamina and the defense did not let up , even in OT. So if the Birds lost the game because of tired legs,then the Dawgs won with stamina. I can also say that McGraw did beat Arrez a couple times but overall Arrez did a good job. In the first half when Arrez was in foul trouble, McGraw cleaned house. In closing I am very impressed by Holmes not giving up like I have seen sometimes in the past. A great win for the Bulldogs.
  5. I'll be in all black on the Dawg side, white -> 6' 1" -> 240 lbs -> black and grey goatee!!! :fight: is on!!!
  6. They got Arrez listed at 5'11" and I agree, I am 6'1" and he is every bit as tall as I am. Little side note, besides his jumping ability he has long arms. Very strong upper body, calves as big as sugar melons. Dhould be a good match up.
  7. I have got to say, I love this site :argue: :thumb: !!!!! I just hope everybody will get to see this team!!!!!
  8. Your right :thumb: needless to say in my childhood I got to see one of the best teams ever in No Ky if not two.
  9. Eta you are right, don't knock the Dawgs if you have not seen them. Defensively the best team in KY!!! Period!!! 8 to 10 deep will guard like there is no tomorrow. I predict they will go deep into the state. Watch out Ky, Dawgs are coming back to Rupp!!! :thumb:
  10. HOLMES BULLDOGS 1977 - 33-3 1978 - 34-2 1979 - 28-5 1980 - 32-4
  11. 1978 Holmes was 34-2 and state runner-up, 31-1 into state.
  12. Trust Arrez can score any time, have to watch all games:thumb:
  13. You can have all the muscle in the world, ask Luke from Dixie! Dawgs were striping him with no problem. Dawgs will have no problem. I have Holmes by15+, easy!!! :flame: :flame: :flame: :flame: :flame: :scared:
  14. Dixie took an early lead at 6-2 (Big Luke) had an injury the first play of the game, then got taped up and came back but was never a factor. Same old story, defense was all over the place. The bulldogs lead was 17 at the half and throughout the game they were up 20 to 25. Dixie made a very little run at the end of the game because Henley had the boys play the slow it up,"not the Holmes ball" and some massive foul calling by the officials. As I have said all year the defense was just unreal. Good game for the DAWGS!!! A little side note, if I may. Sometimes when the Bulldogs are in the opponents face, moving so fast, hands all over the place. Personally I think the refs make calls that should not be a foul, it seems like they make the call without even seeing if it was all ball or not. They got to be thinking it's got to be a foul so I'll blow the whistle. I'm not complaining just have to see what I see as a sports fan, not as a Bulldog fan.
