Doram is beastly anywhere under the basket. Though I don't know what else Harrison has or who they graduated, teams will have trouble stopping Doram if she gets it near the goal.

I don't know anyone would "like" the comment about Bracken's girls not playing. But, as I said earlier...attitudes are contagious...especially with teenage girls. I think it's hard for these girls going from basketball straight to softball with little break. JMO Hopefully, after a summer's rest they will come back with a committed winning attitude. Time will tell I guess.

As long as they come back with positive attitudes, that sounds great! Attitudes are contagious---positive or negative!

Look at the turnover rate for football coaches at BC since the program began. I'm not surpirsed the FB coach left as that's been the trend for years--way before Hunter took over as AD. I personally like the guy....I'm not a coach, but am familiar with the system.

We were all sitting right along the 3rd baseline and without question, the 3rd baseman kicked it....if not the ball must have been possessed by a demon to end up going the other way and hitting off the backstop. That was the worst call I've seen all season long. HOLY COW! And they have a conference about it and I assume the other two were not watching the game and must've missed it too. That stupid call had our entire cheering section fired up the rest of the night. Heck, even Bourbon fans were commenting how bad the call was. Not that we would've won the game, but we had some momentum going at that point...that was an easy 2 runs right there and then runners on 2nd and 3rd most likely with 2 outs. Terrible. Terribly pathetic call.

Absolutely agree...in the end, it's all about the safety of the kids. Heck, who could argue that? Anybody who does ought to have to watch the game in catching gear themselves.

That win was brought up simply because of BGH's post which was of no relation to the thread title. I am not stuck on any win---I can assure of that. Bracken's season has been like a roller coaster and as RP pointed out, the Lady Bears have lacked consistency throughout the season. I don't ever wanna lose...not to Brossart...not to Mason...not to anyone, but I've learned that there are alot worse things in life than losing a game, regardless of when it occurs. We just have to deal with the outcome of the draw and do the best we can to win a regional game or two.

Well....Bracken took an early 2-0 lead. Mason came alive and had a big inning to go ahead 5-2 I think. After that, they kept adding a little to the score each inning. Bracken just couldn't put anything together offensively---had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and couldn't get anyone in...that's how things went for the Lady Bears tonight. I had hopes that with big wins against Nicholas and St. Henry that we would be pumped for post season. It just didn't happen for us tonight. Congrats to Mason who played with alot of heart. Maybe we can shake things up in the regional---who knows.
