  1. Louisville had a lot to do with that extra time extending out as it did. There was originally supposed to be 5 minutes of stoppage time. McCabe's "injury" in the 90th minute added 1 minute (I think it was McCabe. I couldn't see a number with him rolling around on the ground.), Kaye grabbing the ball and rolling around with it to eat time added more, the red card issued to the bench player added yet more. The foul at the end could have cost LC, in a major way. The ref was going to allow SPR to execute the free kick before he was going to call the game. Swope Park took their sweet time and that added a good 20 or 30 seconds.
  2. So much for 40-0. It makes you wonder how bad FAU is.
  3. Poor man's muscle car. The Bugatti Vision GT will crank out over 1200 hp and do over 278 mph. Of course that is for a cool $5.6 million, tax, tag, and title. Can you imagine what a set of wipers for that thing would cost?
  4. The tickets came in the mail today. @Bench, I've heard how beautiful the campus is from the pseudo son-in-law. He was there several times when he was doing his graduate work at Michigan State. Psych major, who knows why. However, this game is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. I suspect most of the campus will be closed, but we still plan on getting there early, if only to drive around and take in the sites. I have family meeting us there, too, all IU alumni and fans. They will give us a tour. I wish IU hadn't bought they're way out of the home and home they had with USF football. I would have loved to have tailgated there.
  5. @Run To State. Bud. Where are you at? Get the wood for the fire pit here. I'm buying.
  6. Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll!!!! 88th minute. 1-0 City.
  7. Vladislav Namestnikov and J.T. Brown scored. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 28 saves. The Bolts out shot Anaheim 37-29.
  8. I need to clarify this. I figured out the main plot way early in the book. The thing with the King at the end, kind of caught me off guard.
  9. They don't play Christmas music on 98 Rock, so I don't care.
  10. So the fact that what they did was wrong, that they were in violation of university policy, does not matter, because everybody is cheating? Also, the professor is ignorant because he didn't think it was OK for his students to cheat, "because everybody does it"? I would counter that the professor is being diligent enough to make sure that his assignments are carried out properly, as opposed to a lot tenured academics who assign TAs to perform their classroom requirements. I applaud the OSU Committee on Academic Misconduct for standing behind him, too.
  11. I wonder how many litter boxes you'd need to facilitate 65 cats?
  12. They collaborated on a project where collaboration was specifically prohibited. It does not matter how they did it, they got caught violating the rules of the project. But hey, screw the rules. We don't need no stinking rules. Honesty and integrity? Who needs that? If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'.
  13. Murray State was the lone school from the state of Kentucky in the field of 64.
  14. Conference USA Men's Soccer Tournament Round 1. NORFOLK, Va. – Kentucky outshot Marshall by a 20-16 margin – and put eight of those attempts on frame compared with Marshall's six – but the Thundering Herd found the back of the net once, and the Wildcats were unable to at least match that key factor, despite an abundance of chances on Wednesday. The score line finished 1-0 in favor of Marshall, sending the Wildcats out of the Conference USA Tournament, which is being held at Old Dominion's Norfolk, Virginia, campus this week. Marshall scored in the 33rd minute after Lewis Knight broke free along the right flank, and UK couldn't clear his cross with it instead falling to Dion Stergiotis just inside the box. From there, he smashed his shot into the roof of the net. Marshall found itself ahead just moments after it looked as though they'd surely be down a goal. Aime Mabika put a quality ball across the box to Alex Bumpus on the far post, but Marshall goalkeeper Nate Himes did well to save. The rebound ended up on JJ Williams' forehead, and then Himes made an even better save to keep UK off the scoresheet. The Wildcats outshot the Herd 13-7 in the first half, and continued to have the better of play in the second half, but to its credit, Marshall did well in frustrating the UK attack. Kentucky dropped to 8-6-4 (4-2-2 Conference USA regular season). The Thundering Herd improved their record to 8-9-1 (3-5-0 C-USA regular season). Seven teams qualify for the C-USA Tournament with regular-season champion Florida International the recipient of a first-round bye. Marshall will play the winner of Wednesday's ODU v South Carolina match in the semifinal round on Friday. FIU will play the winner of Charlotte in the other semifinal. Kentucky Loses 1-
  15. NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament Round 1. --- The Murray State women's soccer team fell 2-0 in a hard fought battle with the Tennessee Vols in the first round of the NCAA tournament in Knoxville, Tenn. Although ending their season shorter than they would have planned, the Racers end with a program low two defeats with an overall record of 15-2-2 overall. Tennessee advances to the second round and now has an overall record of 15-4-1. The first half was a stalemate, with both teams held scoreless after the initial 45 minutes. Murray State attempted three shots in the first half with one on target while Tennessee took four shots with one getting on target as well. "It's always tough when the season ends, but we broke down many barriers this season. To be ranked in the top-25 in the RPI and receive votes in the coaches poll five weeks in a row is an unbelievable achievement," said head coach Jeremy Groves after the game. Tennessee was able to score twice in the span of four minutes, with goals coming at the 59th minute and 63rd minute respectively. Murray State has not allowed multiple goals in a single game since September 8, where they hosted Little Rock and won 4-3 in overtime. This is also just the second time all year that the Racers were out shot by an opponent, with the other time coming against Saint Louis on September 17. Murray State Athletics
  16. The ND offensive line is getting owned.
  17. Let them take their time. You don't want to do like those guys in Oviedo. They wanted to be first, so they put up a metal building, threw some turf in it, and called that an IPF. I wonder if it is standing up as well as their football stadium. A few months ago, UCF filed a lawsuit against the builder of Spectrum Stadium because it is literally falling a part.
