The board of control passed it with the condition it is a one year trial period in basketball only. Volleyball, softball, and baseball were not passed under this new policy.

With Coach Breeden taking the Tates Creek job, their should be some great interest for this job. Who are the top candidates.

Wayne Breeden from Owensboro High will be introduced this afternoon as the new Tates Creek head coach.

Miller will be at Knox Central or South Laurel next year. This is a very talented list. Crawford will hopefully be back to full strength next year.

Congrats to Moorman. He is the real deal and had a great senior year.

They score a lot of points but it is hard to outscore people throughout the entire post season. Good assessment.

Aaron is a great talent in the central part of the state and I have enjoyed watching him play. Why has Eastern not offered and made sure they get him? He would tie a local kid to their program and give them a great player.

True, Tates Creek used to be a big time job. Toyota and Lex. Cath have totally changed the 11th region. You can have a great team year in and out and never win the region.

The reason you see AAU playing no defense is everyone is trying to showcase their scoring ability. College coaches can teach defense, college coaches can't teach some one to be a scorer. Scotty Hobson did not become an All-American by playing defense in the summer. He did so by showing his athletic ability on the offensive end.

Tate Cox (JBS) and Elisha Justice (Shelby Valley) are the best I have seen east of Lexington as freshmen and sophomores.

Indiana has mostly had the better players the last few years and therefore ended up winning most of the games. UK has missed out on a few of their top players the last few years including Zeller this year.

Warren East, Nelson Co., Daviess Co. are three pretty good jobs still open.

He got the bigger of the two rings as well. Both will be good college players but Hopson has the advantage as far as making it to the NBA.

Artie Braden will take this job and the John Hardin job will then be open. John Hardin will be a highly sought after job.

Why not just have each school designate a section of the reserved for the student sections on their side. That is what other regions do as well as Rupp Arena at the state tournament. Congrats Hounds!
