SV's Justice to Arkansas?

Featured Replies

This past weekend Arkansas's head coach John Pelphry called Shelby Valley's sophomore point guard, Elisha Justice, to personally invite him to their elite camp in August. Coach Pelphry told Elisha to call him once a week to let him know how things are going. Pelphry also said that they need to sign a point guard out of Elisha's class (2010) and they are seriously looking at him. They will monitor his progress over the next two seasons and want Elisha to keep in contact with them once a week. I believe the attention Elisha is receiving will open the doors for a few more on SV's team. Congrats Elisha and keep up the hardwork.

How big is Justice?

I saw Valley play Perry Central this past season and nobody on Valley's team looked like they had the potential to play for the University of Arkansas. A University of Arkansas type player would of had 30 or 40 against Perry Central easily. Arkansas signs the same type players as the University of Kentucky. I for one would love to see Justice go to Arkansas but I dont think he has the size or scoring ability to play against guys 5 or 6 inches taller than him and just as quick night in night out.

Justice has a ways to go. He had 5 points and just 1 field goal against legit comp at the Adidas May Classic. I am not sure how old he is but was sporting a beard this past weekend and stood about 6-2 or 6-3. He has limited guard skills and he's too small to play forward at that level. His team got beat by 34 or 36 against Indiana Elite which shows you the gap between talent levels in SV's region and Indiana. I hope a school like Arkansas looks at him, but that's a long long way off.

I think you got the wrong man. He is no where close to 6-2 or 6-3 and I doubt he has a beard.

Nobody on SV's team will score 40 points in a game. They are too unselfish and especially Elisha.

Which team did he play for this past weekend?

I have the right player. He wore #1 for the Derek Smith 16s.

He is 17 and doesn't have limited guard skills I promise you. He is about 5'10 though or 5'9". You sure you have the right guy?

Wrong guy, I know for sure he does not play with them just maybe thought you saw him playing for someone else. It couldn't be his high school teamate Ashley Hatfield who does play for DS 16's but he is a legit 6'5" if not 6'6" with some gaurd skills & he may support a little fade of a beard sometimes.

I just talked to someone from Valley and Elisha has not played in any AAU competitions this spring. Ashley Hatfield and Tyler Newsome are the two playing in the AAU circuit this spring. Elisha can play with anyone from what I have seen and he is only a sophomore.

I can't believe you get on here and dog a player and you don't even have the correct player. Justice could be the best point guard in the state the next two years. I would get my facts straight and know exactly who a person is before dogging a player on here from now on. Not cool. Good luck to Elisha. I have seen you play and you are the real deal.
