  1. First complete pass by Woods. For first down at x 32
  2. 3 and out by X Curly slow to get up after throwing incomplete pass. Manual at own 43
  3. Radio announcer predicts no less than a 21 point win by X.
  4. Anyone know if this will be webcast EDIT" never mind just found it"
  5. Good work. I wonder if this region would be divided differently for geographic purposes.
  6. I think X is the better team. I don't like the fact that Manual didn't get to play against Anderson the first time simply because it gives X another card in the deck. However, what would be interesting is if having Anderson in the lineup makes the tigers more dependant upon him and therefore become less versital. I can honestly see this game going anywhere from a Manual upset to a St X blowout dependant upon what and when it happens on the field.
  7. This is partly a "If you went there, you understand" answer but I might help explain it a little. The atmosphere at Manual is looser and more liberal than probably any other high school in the city, more so than UofL and we all know what universities are like. Academics like the kind that roam the Manual halls tend to have a bit of disdain for athletics. I say this with the understanding that Manual has changed what appears a significant amount in the last 8 years or so. But being a jock wasn't the cool thing at Manual. I don't think that aspect or atmosphere is present in any of the other schools being considered.
  8. Were looking at hemp sacks. Hopefully we reinvigorate an old staple of the state's economy.
  9. I never meant to imply that that there wouldn't be a competitive disadvantage. I did mean to imply that there will ALWAYS be competitive disadvantages classes or no classes. A championship is a lofty goal, if it is to lofty for your school than it shouldn't be your school's goal, and thier is absolutly NOTHING wrong with that.
  10. Very serious. Winning a championship is only one level of success. If next year Evangel Christian wins two games, in my eyes, they will have had a more succesful season than if St X wins the championship based on what they would have accomplished due to the odds against them. Is thier really such a thing as having four teams in Kentucky. All the argueing and debate around Prop twenty and classes seems to be based on the impractical idea that sports will ever be on an even playing field. Do the best with what you have, and ultimately you will be satisfied.
  11. I think the most fair discription is that, despite his youth, he has the disposition of an old ball coach. More akin to a Bill Parcels or a Bill Belicheck, rather than a Pete Carroll. The truth is no one would be saying diddly about it if he weren't making Manual a legitamite threat in the Louisville area.
  12. Do you really think so? The only games I saw were Trinity and Male, and I thought Manual's offense was more efficient against Trinity.
  13. One of the many reason I have never supported prop 20.
  14. It probably has less to do with anything like that as much as it does with smart coaching. Male and Trinity are probably easier games for the players to "get up" for. Glaser knows Manual brings in a tough team and doesn't want to get caught overlooking them.
