Any updates from tonight's games?

Why would Ludlow want to change conferences? From what I understand, if you change conferences in one sport, it has to happen across the board in all sports. So, I'm thinking that moving up is probably not be in the best interest of the school. Plus, I haven't heard one person from Ludlow complain about being in the DIII conference. In fact, you are the first person I have heard express any concern about how Ludlow has been winning this year. Keep in mind that Ludlow is extremely fortunate to have a group of very experienced seniors this year that have played together since middle school. And with that experience as a team, big wins are inevitable. Look at your traditionally successful teams: NDA, Boone, Highlands, NCC, etc....They put up big wins all the time against lesser opponents. Do you raise the same questions about these teams or do you just have a personal vendetta against Ludlow? Oh, and for the "sour grapes" comment...recheck my posts. I said no such thing.

This year, Ludlow is pretty much head and shoulders above the rest of the teams in their conference and, for the most part, many of the teams in the All 'A'. You can't fault the Ludlow players and the coaching staff for having the talent and determination to develop into a dominant "Class A" team this year. Thirty point wins are pretty much inevitable when you are included in a conference with teams that are in the rebuilding process. Also, I was at the game yesterday and personally witnessed Ludlow's JV playing most of the fourth quarter. With so much on the line, I can't imagine any coach risking a game by putting the JV in even a little too soon. However, as is pretty much the standard, when the fourth quarter rolled around, the JV did make their appearance and stayed for the remainder of the game.

Any updates on the coaching position? Seems like a decision would need to be made soon to make the transition a little smoother for all involved. I wonder what the hold up is...

That's crazy. Isn't there supposed to be a "student" price and and adult price? If she's not a student yet, then why did she have to pay?

I'm thinking the All 'A' might be a little easier with her in the lineup. Though, I gotta say, from what I've seen and read, Ludlow still played pretty well without her.

If that's the case, then I'm glad to see she's back just in time for the All 'A'. I know she was out with a knee injury.

I don't get it...What's with the rolling eyes? Are you insinuating that no school in the tournament has even the least bit of a chance to challenge New Cath?

Really!? Well, that's good news for Beechwood because I know in the past it seemed to be the volleyball team that got most of the athletic talent. Good to hear that the basketball team is starting to build some tradition too.

I agree that it will probably be Ludlow and NCC in the finals. Though, I gotta admit, I would love to see Ludlow actually give NCC a run for their money.

Interesting...If the 7th graders start freshman, what's going on with the 8th graders? Are they just not quite as good, or are they already getting JV minutes?

What's going on with Holmes this year? This score kind of surprises me...Did Holmes lose a lot from last year, or what?

Ha!! No doubt. Word on the street was that Newport and Silver Grove were stuck in Grant Co. and were planning on staying overnight in the gym until the conditions improved. Any truth to that? When have the games been rescheduled for?

I was glad to hear the last two games of the night were cancelled. I was headed down that way, and then decided to turn back around once I saw that 2-75 was a stand still. (Not to mention the fact that the streets were a little too slick to be making such a trek.) Word must have gotten out late about the games being cancelled though because I heard that Ludlow got all the way to Grant Co. before being told that the game was cancelled. I wonder why word didn't get communicated to the Head Coaches ahead of time. Anyone know when the games have been rescheduled for?
