I don't understand the love affair with Ashland. Who have they beaten, especially away from home? The only way they win this game is to shot over 50% because they don't rebound well. I'm not trying to pick at Ashland, just how I see it. I have seen both teams against Fairview and I think Rose Hill wins.

A team that is right behind Elliott in the region should be able to eclipse 30 against the Pistons.

I watched them play JV against Fairview and they are pretty impressive.

My bad, you gave people 20 minutes to drive 120 miles. Here is the puzzling thing to me about Rose Hill. If I'm not mistaken they returned their entire team from last year yet they seem to have regressed. I don't know if LCA lost any players from last years team or not but look at what Rose Hill did last year compared to this year against the same teams and it is very puzzling. Bath Co. is another great example.

You know your right I shouldn't have singled out the sacred cow. So lets take a look at Raceland, ranked #7 in this poll. So far the combined records of the teams they have beaten is 25-63. Combined record for the teams that beat them is 47-20. That number is skewed because Raceland recently lost 41-24, that's right 24 to Connor who is a whopping 4-10. Combined record of all Raceland opponents 62-83. Once again as long as Rose Hill is ranked low then it must be a good poll no matter how inaccurate it might be. One last thing concerning Ashland's record. Does UT VOL fan even know that Ashland has yet to play a game on their opponent's home floor? All their games have been at home with the exception of 3 games at Henry Co and none of those were against Henry Co. My question is did anyone really do any research before insulting our intelligence with this garbage.

What does it matter. Rose Hill beat Fairview at Fairview and Morgan and it didn't matter. Plus you probably won't count it if they beat Ashland. So what does strength of schedule me to you?

The strength of the 16th region lies in the class A schools. The discussion begins and ends with Elliott.

First of all I think this poll is complete garbage and those of you who think it is accurate need to put down the bottle. Just a simple observation. Record of Kentucky teams that Ashland has beaten 20-35 Record of Kentucky teams that Ashland lost to 22-13 overall record of Kentucky teams on Ashland's schedule is 42-48 Record of Kentucky teams that Rose Hill has beaten 21-17 Record of Kentucky teams that Rose Hill has lost to 43-18 Combined 64-35 Plus Rose Hill has beaten two of the teams ranked ahead of them. I have not had the time to research every teams records but apparently neither has the originator of this thread. Face this poll is 2% sceintific and 98% emotional.

How much weight did you give to strength of schedule? Have you seen every team play? Great job except for the fact that you had Rose Hill's record wrong and didn't know that they beat Morgan Co. I think this proves that any poll, no matter how flawed, that has Rose Hill low in the rankings is going to draw praise from the rest of the region.

It will take an influx of talent for Zornes to be hanging banners anytime soon. Of course that has happened in the past so who knows.

I think ever school takes their share of "kickings" on this board. I didn't read the football boards much this fall but I bet Ashland took their fair share. I bet when Rose Hill was down 4 or 5 years ago they took theirs also. I can't prove any of this but I feel certain it happened. Do you think this will be a high scoring game?

Don't get me wrong LCA is more than capable of winning this game but to say that it takes more than two players to win is misleading. Rose Hill has the same TEAM that defeated LCA last season.

I believe Euton and Jackson beat LCA last season. Once again there is more to the game than scoring points. Other guys contribute with defense etc.

I really don't know any of the kids and I apologize if what I said hurt any of them but this will be a low scoring game. Dodd will want to slow it down and I don't think Boyd can speed them up.

Boyd is very prone to pressure. With that said I don't think Russell has the personnel to pressure Boyd's guards. Give me Boyd in a game that the final score will resemble a 5th grade game. 38-24.
