This week is a big week for Walton to see how far they have come and nice to go against one of the best programs in the state.

No apology needed. The team has been getting better and better every week. This week Qb Nolan Daughtery had a break through game. The line is where it all starts on both sides of the ball and now thats where Walton's strength is. In the past they just were not strong and phyiscal enough, now the are. The pieces are starting to come together but this week Beechwood looms.

This team has gotten better every week. They started off with a close win at Gallatin, then beat Berea by a couple of TD's. They played up against Grant in a tight game then a missed extra point costs them against a good Caroll County team. I thought that this Bellevue would be close.

Biggest win in Walton Verona history and first win under the lights! First district win for the Bearcats and puts them in good position for the district. Walton's offensive line wore down the Bellevue late in the game. Bellevue had a couple of good drives throwing the ball but Walton's defense stiffened up.

Agree with parts of both previous posts. This will be a good benchmark of where both teams are at in the district.

Not so fast with Walton! I am sure the game will be close one way or another but no problem, no way!

Walton is alot better than last year. Owen did not play Owen this year except for a scrimmage. Hard to tell alot from scrimmage with both teams not running a full playbook. Walton has been in every game this year but has had miscues that hurt them in spots.

Hard fought game for both teams! Game went down to the last seconds.

I thought Bishop Brossart was going to be in 1A still? Walton is probably a better fit in District 5 that is shown. That would be similar to what they play in for other sports.

Congrats to the Braves. Too many turnovers by Walton! They are on a bye week now and to regroup for Caroll County.

Thoughts on this match up? Last years game was close. Berea coming back in the final minutes to win.

Don't know about a upset. These two teams have had close games ever since they started playing.
