Owen County played well. Walton did not. Too many walks and they constantly pitched from behind. Errors, mental mistakes and no hitting. Owen came in and was ready to play. Congrats to Owen County.

I stand corrected!

Gregg who plays second base. Roy who pitches, just to name a few. Grant is a solid team and my hat is off to them. Walton had one of those days. They had not given up more than 6 runs all year. In the first inning, they had over 5 errors resulting in runs and probably had over 12 total. This is not taking anything away from Grant but this performace was not their best. They need to put things back together in a hurry with the all "A" coming this weekend.

Walton bats were out in full force, jumping out on top in the first inning and never looking back. Game finishes in the fifth inning. Great game after coming off nearly a week off.

Very young team with no seniors and just two juniors but are talented. The sky is the limit for this team if they avoid mistakes and if the pitching continues to be good. The bottom half of the order hit tonight as well as the top and that bodes well for them.
