He will be a teacher there. He was hired already for next year I think. He was going to be the middle school coach and teach middle school.

No coach was the middle school head coach at Woodland last year. I don't know to much else.

Walton has hired Coach Barth. The choice was announced to the players today!:banana:

Humm..We'll see if that is accurate. I know Coach Simmons and he will want a commitment of support from the admin there. I don't know the situation at all there but it does sound complicated.:idunno:

Sad day for Walton Verona Football. Coach is a good, classy man who gave everything to the program. He has a illness in the family and needs to be there for them. This I know was a hard decision for him but as he always said, " family comes first". Coach, I appreciate all you have done for the program and you will be truly missed.

Adam Nash and Brent Strong from Walton Verona. Both are young guys who helped in the sucess Walton had in their first season. :thumb:

They lose a few but do have a good number of talented players coming back this year and the incoming freshman class has alot of players.

Agreed, it will be a challenge for them this year adjusting to district play but they will battle hard.:taz:
