I agree...while Scott Co football is successful, they would be competing for the Championship every year if Toyota was involved. I think Toyota could bring in 5-10 players, not just kids in a uniform, I mean players, every year if they desired.

He is a good one, but he needs to have success with another group before being thrown in with Mabrey, Lusterman, Hatcher and others.

Where are the freshmen records? Who won state for freshmen last year? Come on here...a parent must have started this thread so they could see their kids name. It will all come down to how these kids mesh on a varsity squad. Clark Co. has two freshmen playing up, so this Mason Co.bunch won't see them this year.....but they will. There are other squads as well doing the same, also its amazing how much kids grow and mature....this bunch may have already matured. Lets see how the region goes in the coming year.....but freshmen ball means nothing...its a building block....that is all.

Who cares if they were held back. they will have a better school experience and start college with greater maturity. Forget about the sports.

Montgomery Co., Harrison Co. and Mason Co. are all well coached and getting it done right now.

A parent or any other volunteer for that matter should never do something expecting something in return. There is no "quid pro quo" in these situations.

Hold on....should everyone expect Central to be back every year. Maybe they will...but building a program is much more than one season. Granted, they are now headed in the right direction, but to repeat and play high quality football year in and year out takes a lot of commitment top to bottom. We will see soon enough.

I think the Belfry coaches warned the players that Central could be dangerous, but when young kids see 5 losses they see 5 losses. Probably hard to make them believe. And, several of the BHS faithful, including me, saw the Johnson Central game and LC looked terrible.

I will say this....Franklin took every opportunity to try and take the praise for the Mumme era and for the offense in general. I don't know how Mumme has moved on without him. Lets be honest, if Mumme had not hired his buddy to be the D coordinator and he had hired someone with SEC experience and if he had a good handler to help him with the press, etc... He might still be at UK.

Come one...you know the answer to that one. You said it 29. Pro teams keep 45 to 48. If the pros don't need 100 players do you really believe colleges and high school teams need 100. you need 45-50 players for good practices and ease of management....anything more depends on the depth of your JV program.

I agree. A packed high school stadium is best suited. Play the semis in Louisville and move the championships back to the high schools.
