  1. Another saturday game for Boyle County. Boyle County will play Pikeville in the Corbin Bowl at 5:30 this saturday. Who wins this one and why? Boyle County(2-0) coming off a win against Rockcastle County 42-22 Pikeville(0-1) coming off a loss against Holy Cross(Covington) 14-32
  2. Franklin County ran a very predictable offense IMO. They didn't really mix things up at all, with the exception of a couple deep passes.
  3. I agree! :thumb: Bell County should win this one by 2-3 TD's.
  4. MacShara from Boyle County really showed what he is about. Everytime he touches the ball it looks like he is going to break a huge run. This guy put up Playstation numbers against a good Rockcastle County defense. Rees MacShara is definitely on the top half of Mr. Football.
  5. Sounds like a great player. However, one player isn't going to win the game for you. These guys are young but should have won. The whole team needs to step it up. I'm cheering for them.
  6. Good observation my friend. :thumb: Either way, visitors side or not, I want to see some Rebel football. Definitely something to look forward.
  7. This really is outrageous. I don't understand it at all but there's nothing we can do about it, unfortunately. :idunno: Common sense should have took over because Boyle County is going to bring the crowd and you can count on that, no matter where it is! :ylsuper:
  8. That's some good news super. Thanks for the info! :thumb:
  9. :ohbrother: Are you serious? I don't want to have to pull out the rain gear! :puke:
  10. Really sad news to hear. Such a great athlete but anyone who truly knows him knows that he is a great person. Prayers from Boyle County.
  11. I agree! :thumb: As you implied, just because you're a Division I college football prospect doesn't make you the absolute best. Being a Boyle County fan, it was a hard choice between these guys. Grant, Rees and Lamar all have good heads on their shoulders but they are surperb athletes. I hope they all stay healthy while having a successful season. Go Rebs! :thumb:
  12. I nearly started a poll but I backed out. I wanted to read through some thoughts although I knew that everyone that was at the game, including the Johnson Central fans, know that Boyle County has no intentions on running up the score. Even the fans who weren't at the game get some idea while reading through the article that Boyle County was just running their normal offense. Why hand it off 3 times and punt? It's just a bad situation and if I had started up a poll I'm sure anyone who was in their right mind would have vote No(that they were not running up the score). Now, I look for Boyle County to have a very successful season from here on out. Go Rebels! :thumb:
  13. This is Vaught's Views written by Larry Vaught of The Advocate-Messenger out of Danville, KY.
  14. I think everyone could agree with this topic. Boyle DID NOT run up the score. Now, I'm curious as too what everyone else thinks about this topic. What do you(the BGP members) think about this? http://amnews.com/stories/2009/08/25/vau.214441.sto
  15. Rees MacShara or Grant Aumiller are easily the best 2 from Central Kentucky.
  16. I sure hope you're right ThinThirty. Obviously that's the ultimate goal. Hopefully big things are to come this year for Boyle County. Things i'd like to see this year is perfect season, rematch with Bell County, and of course winning the state title. All of that is obvious. Now we don't want to get ahead of ourselves because as far as I'm concerned Boyle County has a long way to go before they consider themselves as a lock for the 4A state championship winner.
  17. I noticed that Rockcastle County currently has 9 votes. Anyone who has chosen them, please tell why they win this game? Curious...
  18. Funny stuff my friend. :notworthy:
