Clark stole one from Paris last month at Paris and I look for Paris to get revenge. Plus if Paris plays the way they have been the past few weeks, they could come away with a 10+ victory!

An inside source tells me there was no "interview" that Morriss is supposedly in Danville this afternoon and going to sign a contract. A press conference is scheudled for tomorrow. We shall see.

I think its left up to the individual district on whether or not they draw or seed. I know the 40th is seeded.

Indeed... hints the ?.. Is your district the toughest! And looking at the 43rd its no comparison to the 40th. Only Montgomery County can compete with the 43rd teams night in and night out. What about districts from Louisville? I know in the past they use to have the same scenario has the 43rd where 2 top teams in the state couldn't advance to the regional tournament.

I don't venture out much past the 10th region so I don't know what other districts are out there that could produce a region champion any given year. Looking at the 10th, I'm gonna have to say that the 40th is by far the toughest. 4 teams that are consistanty ranked in the top 5 of the region is hard to beat. Montgomery obviously, however Paris played them to 3 points last night. Then earlier in the season, Clark beat Paris, Paris beat Bourbon, and Bourbon beat Clark. These 3 teams are just fighting to not get seeded 4th in for the district tournament. Brutal. :fight:

There has been speculation. And why wouldn't he? Isn't it (almost) every coaches dream to advance to the next level?

Paris may not put up the points but they sure know how to stop the other team from doing the same. I believe Montgomery had been averaging close to 60 ppg. As soon as Paris can knock down shots, they will be tough to beat. Nice showing for yet another class A school!

Paris did almost pull off the W last night and Brooks is a great coach. If he can get his team playing the way they did last night, they might make a run come March. And as for Brooks, I'm sure we'll see him on the college front in the next few years.

Well if you consider a score around 40-30 a barn-burner, then yes we may have just that. Paris is only averaging I'd say maybe 40 pts per game? Don't know about Brossart, but Paris slows the game way down against its opponents and I don't see Brossart putting up more than 40.

Good coach-- but has alot of great talent revolving around her. Plus I haven't seen her win the "big one" yet. Also adding to the list I have to put Bourbon's coach Tony Sosby. He got a big district win at Clark County tonight. He has definitly turned that program around since he arrived.

What does this do to district standings? Moves Paris to 4th?

Would this be an upset if Bourbon wins? What is their record in the district?

Hey Blue I wasn't overlooking Bracken. I know that anyone can beat anybody on any given day. However I've seen all 3 teams play this year and Paris has won the last 4 years. In my opinion this is just their tourney to lose.

I'm sure Bracken can make the finals coming out of the bottom bracket. But playing either Paris or Brossart in the finals I don't think they have a chance. Afterall you lost to Brossart by 20 I think, and Paris won by 10.

What ever happened to Beth Vice? She was coaching but havent heard of her lately. She would have made a great one, along with Camey Geimen from Brossart.

I thought Paris would run away with this until I saw Brossart beat NCC

Mac may be a good coach, but his attitude is anything far from being good. I also don't think he respects his players anymore.

Is Raceland the favorite out of the 16th again?

Paris and Brossart will meet in the semi's- assuming Brossart can get past St. Pat. The winner of this game goes to Richmond as the finals would be against a Bracken County team or Deming.

Harrison couldn't stop her. The other girls on the team aren't that impressive though.
