If I was an outsider making a call at this game I would say Pulaski by 2 touchdowns, but since it is such a great cross town rivalry and so much at steak, I believe it will be a heck of a game!

I would much rather see a game played down to the wire and get beat by a good team then beat the dog crap out of a team week in and week out, like some schools choose to do!

PC, is still a young program, it has only been around since what the mid to late 80's, a name I hear tossed around with the first PC teams was Steve Mollen?

With every thread that involves Somerset, Southwestern or Pulaski County there is always a heated debate, but I would like to impose a question for everyone. Name the top three best all time players. Name your top three from each school!

I agree 100%, he was just amazing to watch on the field.

Not to insult your intelligence but I really dont think the warriors were trying to kick to Danville. I mean I know with the team speed that they have, not many coaches in this state would kick to them.

I am a supporter of all the local schools, so being that I do not agree with that every time SHS gets assigned to a district that may have more than one loss they some how get out of it to play "closer teams". I do not believe that SW and PC people are taking shots but just pronouncing there dis appreciation with this, year in and year out. I also do not believe it's taking shots if Somerset keeps setting themselves up for it. I believe 100% in my heart that Jay Cobb is running the program into the ground. There has been a lot of good coaches, and whole lot of good players through the Somerset program that put there blood sweat and tears into building a great program built upon pride and tradition. I know for me and many others that pride and tradition is in question with Cobb and the helm!

I have to disagree with this statement. Somerset district schedule has been anything but brutal.

Last year the pass killed the warriors. If they can contain Bowling and the SL receiving corps then I see SW winning this one big. If not, it could be a long night for the blue and orange.

If I were Somerset, I would not under estimate the cards. They have given Southwestern a good game the past two years. They always come out strong, and they are hard hitting. They are a balanced pass/run offense, but last year I believe they threw the ball more so. I give the Jumpers the advantage here, the first half will be close but the jumpers will run away with it in the end.

SW-27 Danville- 18 The warriors will win this one late in the game, I think they need a few quarters to gain confidence.

I would like to say I am not trying to slam anyone, I am a fan of all three local schools and would love to see each of them succeed in there respectable districts and regions, but I do hate to see an every year state contender as in Somerset start that down hill fall.

IMO as a high school football fan, with ties to all three local high schools the animosity is within the whole football program, The only bright spot to the program right now is the success of a great student athlete in John Cole, as he signed with Vandy.

I know the warriors may be young, and probably not looking to sharp as they are very inexperienced all the way across the board, but I can assure you that Coach A will have that team on top in a few weeks. I doubt you will ever see a Dale Anderson team only win 2 games in a year.

I think this game may be much like the PC game for the jumpers. They will probably end up winning and possibly even by a couple td's but I doubt you will see the passion and pride of past teams anytime soon. If my coach left me, then decided to come back, I would always seem to have that in the back of my head.
