Isn’t the KHSAA governed and rules made by the 280 members. Who keeps turning it down, other schools?

Could he decide not to be a pitcher and skip the surgery and just become the DH?

Look back at the past 30 state champions in baseball and I believe you can’t find more then 2-3 small schools (A or AA in football system) that have won a state championship. That tells me there needs to be classifications.

Or just make the All A classic the state title for baseball.

Edit: Just checked the scoreboard. Their record is 2-13 that year. They defeated Boyle County 22-6 in the state championship.

Yes, they got their wins back and the KHSAA cut a check to Highlands for the fine. It took 5 years but they reversed their decision.

edit: article from 2010 stating they restored the wins and paid back the $1500.

Disco was in front of him after he pumped faked to home plate. If he goes straight to the base, Disco is nowhere around. Don't blame Disco, his indecision on that play was the problem.

I thought he was going home and Disco was in front of him on his way to cover first base, is why he couldn't throw it home. He had the guy out at home. So he had to double pump and it was too late to throw home and then just a mess.

Figured that Disco would get a little roughed up in his first game back. Hopefully he has a better second outing.

He was solid last 3 innings and defense didn’t help early on. 4 strikeouts in the last 3 scoreless innings. Hopefully next start he settles down early.

Who has been consistently worse?

He was consistently better than Bronson Arroyo and Mike Leake at least ERA wise. He was also better than Edison Volquez, Travis Wood, and Toni Cigrani. Not counting all the 1/2 season bums they brought in.

But Homer has been terrible the last couple years.

And now she is blaming Ambien.

This is off topic, sort of, and don't want to make an excuse for this. There is no excuse for what she said.

But, Ambien is a messed up drug. I had a doctor prescribe me Ambien for sleep. I don't even like taking aspirin. I took it about a month and it worked for sleep great. But, there were many things I could not remember. I would have to put my phone up, as I would wake up, and there would be texts and pictures I would send to people that made no sense, and I had no recollection of them. I would "sleep walk" all over the house. I would rather have trouble sleeping, so I stopped taking the medicine. It was awful. And every time I read someone blaming Ambien for something they did, I always think, that could happen.

What she said in that tweet is indefensible. It's funny how popular she is in light of how worked up people are over football players kneeling for the National Anthem, even though what she did to the anthem was far more disrespectful.

I would say many people have no idea what your talking about. Didn’t this incident happen almost 30 years ago. You almost have to be 45/50 to even remember it.

And I agree, what she she did then and what she said now is indefensible.
