Scooter just had an easy error. They need to bench him the rest of week to let the other players know this won’t be tolerated. This is the big leaugues, not grade school baseball. What a bonehead. He must be a mental midget.
Does that cover everything?

I dont think Marty and Thom call out the Reds players enough IMO.
It is the repetitiveness of Votto's mistakes/lack of doing that are the issue for me. The base running mistakes, like this weekend, when he knows there is a runner in front of him, no excuse for that at the MLB level. If that was his only time doing it this season, you could deal with it, but how many does he have this year already? Add into that, that with 2 strikes he takes way to many pitches for called strike three. If he is such a good hitter, he should be able to hit the ball with 2 strikes. (and dont give me the "it was a borderline pitch" argument, hes taken called third strikes right down the middle of the plate, bat still on his shoulder.)
For such a claimed elite player, his actions dont show that. Sure he puts up good numbers on what has been overall a very bad Red's team for most of his career.
I don’t know about this year, but last year, according to pro media, he is the only player in mlb that didn’t take a called third strike that had a 70% chance of being called a strike.
The third strike he took today was over 2 inches out of the strike zone and had less than a 20% chance of being called a strike. He definitely knows the strikezone.

Depends on where in ohio. The kroger in Anderson has gas for $2.47 right now and UDF in Milford Oh has it for $2.53. It's been like that for weeks.
And just like that, poof it’s gone. It was $2.53 at my UDF this morning and $2.87 tonight.
US urges everyone to quit buying any Iranian oil.

Reds may get a nice haul for Harvey with a couple more good outings.

I work in Ohio, it went to 2.89 and has stayed there over the last few months.

Filled up for $2.53 in Milford OH today. It was $2.55 in Georgetown KY when I went thru yesterday.

I agree, his numbers are great but they could be even better. Plus, he still can't run the bases.
How do you know his numbers would be better if he starts swinging at pitches out of the strike zone? He has a very good eye and is more times right than wrong when he doesn’t swing.

Votto has a .375 BA .505 OBP and 1.089 OPS with runners in scoring position for those who were complaining about him taking pitches.
But if he didn’t take those pitches, he may have a .389 batting average. What a bum.

Here is a related story. An artist was arrested Friday when he placed an 800lb steel sculpture, of a burnt heroin spoon, in the car drop off lane of Purdue Phatma. Purdue Pharma is majority owned by the developers of OxyContin. I say well done on getting your name out there and a nice peaceful protest.

Apparently Fiona themed bobblehead ticket package for tonight. That answers that. I am no longer excited for having a decent sales night on a Tuesday. Most of those will never make it to their seats probably.
I saw where they interviewed a woman who flew up from Dallas with four friends just for the Fiona bobble head giveaway. They are going to zoo tomorrow to see Fiona and then fly home. That’s crazy to me.

Sounds like he signed above the slotted position. Nice job Mr. Rom

I always find it funny how no matter what the Bengals do, people find something negative to say about it.
The reality of the situation is basically every nfl team is having to try to find ways to get people to games. With the blackout rule no longer in effect, and the home experience of watching games. It gives little reason for fans of any team to go to games.
And not just football, baseball and nascar have been dropping attendance.

Alabama offered today and Florida State offered yesterday.

You could have just said why instead getting personal, no one thinks that is ok and I wasn't aware of it.
In 2015, Dowd accused Pete of committing statutory rape on a radio show. Pete sued him for defamation. In court papers, Pete admitted he had a relationship with a girl he thought was 16 in 1975, which is legal age for consent in Ohio. Dowd settled out of court before Pete could be deposed. Pete was 34 or 35 at the time married with 2 kids.

3rd consecutive year a team from NKY has reached the championship game...come on Highlands bring it home!
Isn’t this the 5th straight year? And 0-4 in the previous 4.

I think there is a ton of blame to go around. Anyone who has their hand in the cookie jar can be blamed (doctors, big Pharma, pharmacies, etc). And of course the drug addict.
I’m not sure what a lawsuit will accomplish though.

DuVall with a grand slam in the ninth. I know his average is not high but that is why he plays. He can change the game with one swing of the bat quicker than anyone on the roster. Reds up 7-0.
The problem is he changes the game with all the other times at bat when we need him and he fails. The few times he has came through would work perfect for a pinch hit performance.

So why is gas in nky 40 to 50 cents higher? I remember reading that gas prices would be going down this year because there was no longer “summer” gas.
Drives me nuts. Gas is currently $2.59 in Georgetown and Sadieville Ky. I always try to fill up when I'm down there instead of waiting until I get back into NKY.

New details to the arrest: 5 lbs of weed, 52 grams of cocaine and $95k in cash.

I guess I’m confused on how the KHSAA is run. As pointed out above, the reason there is 6 classifications in football is because the schools wanted it and voted on it. Why didn’t baseball get that chance.
In the statement put out by the KHSAA regarding transfers, they stated “The rules that govern students and their play are made by the member schools. The 280 member schools across the state comprise the KHSAA, not its 14 full-time staff members.” So who makes the bylaws and rules?

And now we should bench Suarez after that dumb run scoring error. Just bring up the AAA team.
