Fun personal story about Michelle. As some of you know I now live in Florida. I was hanging out with some friends at Jellyrolls a dueling pianos bar at Disney’s Boardwalk. I was up at the bar getting a drink and I look down at the other end and saw Michelle. I looked at my friends who don’t watch survivor and told them I was going to talk to her. I went up to her introduced myself, she bought me a drink, despite my hardest efforts to buy her a...

I could see anyone left out there winning right now including Nick, Denise, and Michelle. If any of those 3 make final tribal they will have a good case. This is as wide open as any season I’ve seen and it’s truly living up to expectations. I even think we could see someone on the edge still win. If Rob or Parvati come back I could see them both making huge moves at the end that could be enough. Such a great season.

They both are. Tony is playing the most impressive game of anyone out there right now simply because it’s such a drastically different version of Tony than what we’ve seen in the past.

Then if we already crossed that line and there’s no turning back, then you agree it’s ok to use it to make sure people those who have contracted the virus or been in contact with someone who has, are staying home? If there’s no turning back, then we might as well use it during this time. The more I talk about it though, the more I move closer and closer to not really caring about my privacy. I mean even before this all I really do is go to work,...

When we are in a “normal” state I’m with you. But I do believe there are definite benefits to it under the current circumstances.

I tend to agree with this idea, but how do you feel about the idea of government using phone data to track the movements of people during this quarantine time. Specifically tracking the movements of those who have contracted the virus or been in contact with people who have the virus.

100%. Private ownership of Tigers should have a no tolerance policy. Unless they are in a legitimate zoo, there should be no Tigers in America.

We are 4 months away. That’s a long time. Right now the only thing that is keeping me sane is the fact that we could have college football at the end of this. I can deal with these next 4 months. I can’t deal with no college football. Sports aren’t just a game. They mean so much more to so many people, myself included. I will see myself out of this thread because I don’t want to become depressed.

Why do I feel like there is something I’m missing, but I just don’t believe we’ll see the kind of numbers people are talking about. I truly feel that by summer we’ll have a handle on this to the point that we can go back to somewhat normal. Hanging out in public places, people going back to work, sporting events, etc. For those that have seen the Dave Chappelle standup, Sticks and Stones, I just keep coming back to the line he says, “I don’t...

Just my opinion, but I think it starts on time. Maybe that’s just me being overly optimistic because I don’t know what I’d do if fall rolls around and football isn’t ready to go, but I do feel like we’ll have a much better hold on this whole thing by the end of the summer. Just in time for football to start.

Gotcha. Somewhat familiar with the area. I live downtown in the channelside area. My apartment overlooks where the cruise ships take off.

Her current husband is the textbook definition of a submissive. Poor guy. That picture of him dressed as a tiger with Carole holding the leash was absolutely hysterical. Haha my girlfriend had to pause the show because I couldn’t stop laughing :lol2:

I have no need for a new car right now. Got a new one in March of 2018. But if I can get a good deal on my trade in and get the 2020 version or 2021 version for 0.0 then I would consider doing it.

Airlines won’t fail with or without a bailout. We may lose a budget airline or two, but the big dogs will still be there when this is all over. Delta isn’t going anywhere.

It’s 100% going to take a hit. But it doesn’t matter what the market value of your home right now or what the market value of your home is when the housing market reaches its low point. It only matters what it is when you want to sell it. The market won’t stay down forever.

Those who will rebound from this the strongest will be those who are looking at this as a chance to leverage their money and the low interest rates. You could refinance your mortgage or auto loan to pay it off earlier or get a better APR. If you’re in credit card debt, consolidate it with a personal loan because interest rates will never be lower and you’ll save hundreds or even thousands of dollars of interest. Then you’ll be able to create a...

Lots of overlap between baseball and football in my experience back in high school and it seems it’s still that way. Those 2 sports probably have the biggest overlap.

On a much larger scale for kids who have higher aspirations at the next level, the high school football season has to coincide with football season. It would change the entire recruiting calendar. With NSD essentially being in December now and a large percentage of players foregoing their last semester of high school and enroll early, it would throw everything off. If you’re arguing it should only be a KY thing then football players would leave...

As someone who played 80-100 games every summer and played fall baseball as well, fall baseball sucks. Every one is worn out, school had just started back, and honestly you’re just tired of baseball. Basketball is similar with AAU but AAU stops around when school starts and you have a month or more off before October 15th. Having baseball in the fall you would jump straight from summer season to high school ball. That would be miserable. Your...

High school coaches do a much better job of protecting arms than summer coaches do. The goal should be to have the high school teams at full strength heading in the season. I think we would all agree to that. The best way to do that is for it to remain in the spring.

Kids aren’t going to stop playing summer ball. They get infinitely more recognition and their name out there from that than they do high school ball. You want to follow up a summer season where kids are playing 80-100 games in 3 months with another season in the fall where they play 30 more games? Insane.
