With NCC and CCH both outside shooting teams, I think whichever team establishes an inside game may have the upper hand in this one.

Hopefully, NCC at least attempts to get McDonald the ball on the inside. With Miller's strength, I would like to see the Breds either have him post up or have him take his defender off the dribble with drives to the hole. I really think these two will be the key to success for the Breds in this one.

I think the CCH /NCC game will be a good one. I'm gonna go with NCC, just a gut feeling. Who will guard Ruthsatz? I think the NCC team would be tough to prepare for...at last nights game it always seemed like it was someone different when a play needed to be made. Seemed balanced to me. They need to score more than 49 though. BOK may not be the remedy, all the more reason to go inside.

I'd hardly say they are coming in on a roll, having lost 2 of their last 6, both at home, to Conner and Holmes, and squeaking one out at Dayton against Highlands, a team they have beaten twice by a combined total of only 8 points. I think they need to get their chemistry back in order very quickly with only a couple of days to prepare for CovCath. I think CovCath will get refocused after the draining double OT win versus Holy Cross last week and play much better than they did against Holmes friday night. McDonald could clearly be the key here but how healthy is he and can he get up and down the big court quickly enough to be effective against CovCath's quickness? If he cannot he could hurt them especially defensively.

Agree, however at this point any draw would have been a tough draw. CovCath, Dixie or Boone, pick your poison. IMO I think they got the best draw they could have gotten for the first round game.
