Who are some of top teams from each region that have exited the post season so far. Right now I would say Henry Clay from the 11th, Brossart and Harrison from the 10th, and Holy Cross from the 9th........................who else is at the house?

Somerset is and shouldn't be. 12th Region.

Some teams that have been really good before but are already home this season are Elliott County, Shelby Valley and Paintsville.

Walton Verona was not a top team in the 8th and was not expected to make any noise in the regional tourney.

Don't know why you would think Brossart should still be there, Camels beat them by 4 in regular season. Same goes for Harrison County, Pendleton County beat them by 12 in the regular season. Harrison and Brossart are 2 good teams no doubt, but to say they should still be in the tournament is some what of a stretch. The Wildcats and the Camels both win in regular season and in the districts.

I'm not so sure the thread is all about who should still be There but more of look at some of the better teams who are at home after First round losses who could have competed possibly in their Regional Tourneys.

You got Pendleton-Harrison backwards from regular season. Harrison won by 12 and was playing better at the end than Pendleton, that's why people are surprised.

(See the following quote, that was my thinking) Im not saying that Brossart should have won or Harrison should have won (they could have gone either way), but they both were two of the top teams in the 10th that are no longer in the tournament that could have made noise.

Maybe not a dominate force, but they did beat a good Owen County team which many predict to be a regional contender and took Simon Kenton to the wire. So with that and the fact that I just couldn't help myself......I had to post it.
