statman
A little suprised it was that close. Hope some guys were rested. Because they've been playing so well lately? Just wondering, because the Rocks beat that same team by 19 two weeks ago at home. Also wondering if the rematch with Seneca will be closer than the 64 point margin on the same floor back in December?
fatsnbul
Actually they seemed to have regressed a couple weeks ago...

gold sunrise
Trinity High School’s basketball team got off to a rousing start in tournament play Tuesday night, getting 12 three-point baskets in an 84-63 victory over Atherton in the 27th District Tournament at Seneca. The Shamrocks (27-3), who are No. 1 in The Courier-Journal’s Litkenhous Ratings, led by as many as 26 points in rolling to their 10th straight victory. 3fromdeep
A little suprised it was that close. Hope some guys were rested. Actually, Atherton is not as bad this year as usual. They got a nice guard in from Chicago (Mayfield) and a couple of Jr shooters. Still an under .500 record but not the typical 40 point losses in the past years. JIM SEYMOUR # 85
Actually, Atherton is not as bad this year as usual. They got a nice guard in from Chicago (Mayfield) and a couple of Jr shooters. Still an under .500 record but not the typical 40 point losses in the past years. I have watched both games. Do not sell A short. They may have been outmanned but they came to play. Did not seem to be intimidated in any way. IN the first game a few weeks ago at T - they actually held the lead for a bit if I recall correctly. They have nothing to be ashamed about. All Tell
Trinity was down 5 at the half the first time they played. The Rocks must have gotten their "A" game (pun intended) both times because after watching these district teams I thought Atherton was the best of the other three and yet they lost to both Seneca and Waggener. Waggener was IMVHO the worst team I've seen in a few years.
