NFL Rumor Mill

After 3 years? 2 of which ended in the AFC Championship game? I'd be shocked. Unprecedented...

I think they had success in spite of him, instead of because of him. I see him as a Neil O'Donnell type... JMO

I understand a system makes a QB better. So does a top RB+Defense which Balt has. You like Flacco I don't. I think he holds onto the ball WAY WAY to long and puts them in bad situations. He's good enough to win it all because of the defense+run game he has. End of the day I feel like you could stick about 15 QB's in the Ravens offense and they would be just as good if not better. He's shown flashes like the first Pitt game. For me he's too inconsistent though. No way in H he's a top 5 QB!!

On the rumor front Mike Wallace wants to go to San Fran or New Eng if he has too leave. Says he'd like to stay in Pitt but understands the money problems. Said he'd play for Balt. I really think he'll end up in San Fran which will make that team pretty darn good!

After restuctoring of contracts, I think Steelers will sign him.

From what I've read, the steelers have set them up to potentially have big cap problems in the future by restructuring so many guys. Guess they had to do it though.

Maybe so, but the players they have been restructuring are the ones who should play out their contract. We have some dead weight that still needs to be cut. But I know redoing too many contracts can morgage the future.

I just heard on Sirius from Peter King that Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne want to go somewhere as a package deal.

I would still love to see them end up in San Fran. What a dominant team that would be.

Yea wherever Manning ends up I will automatically be a bandwagon fan of that team. He has been my favorite player for quite some time. I just hope it's not the Jets or Redskins because I don't know if I can make myself root for them. Cardinals would be the ideal team with Fitz and Wayne as his WR.

I still have my fingers crossed for Washington

At Miami with Marshall would be dangerous.

Per League Source: Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals in Talks For First Round Trade | National Football Authority

The Cincinnati Bengals are one of three teams sitting in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft with not one, but two picks.

The second pick was courtesy of the Oakland Raiders in the trade that sent quarterback Carson Palmer to the Bay Area last season.

After speaking to a team executive on Monday, National Football Authority senior writer Bear Heiser has learned the Bengals are eager to move up in the first round to secure themselves the top running back in this draft class—Alabama Crimson Tide's Trent Richardson.

^As long as they don't have to give up both 1st rounders, I'd be absolutely thrilled if they could pull that off.

Running backs aren't that hard to come by IMO. I wouldn't waste trading a 1st rounder to move up. Just sit back and wait, you can find a good running back in the later rounds.
