I can see Brady paying the fine to keep the peace with his teammates whether they enforce the fine or not.

I personally still have a problem with the way her statements were brought to light. I still believe that had she known she was being recorded and filmed for public distribution she would have refrained from saying anything despite being heckled to no end by Giants fans.

I still see zero wrong with her comments.

1) She was being heckled about her husband by idiot Giants fans.

2) The receivers had multiple crucial drops.

What exactly is wrong with her saying he can't do everything? :idunno:

And he would do that because he knows her comments are a reflection of him. I think Brady is the kind of guy that would pay the fine just because he knows it's seen that way. He gets it. He knows her comments hurts the organization.

Sorry Ram, but you're not making any sense. One spouses actions/beliefs are not a reflection of the other. To think so basically means you essentially view a husband/wife as one singular person. It doesn't work that way.

It does if you are a public figure. A spouse can, and has, portrayed a public figure in a negative light because of the spouses comments.

By the way, how was she identified in the news broadcasts?

A. Gisele Budchan

B. Some woman

C. a hot blonde

D. Tom Brady's Wife

How did LRCW identify her in the first post of the thread?

In the story I read, and in nearly every story I've seen regarding the incident it's been "Gisele Blasts Patriots WRs".

Gisele was relevent way before she shacked up with Brady. I'd venture to say she's worth darn near as much as he is.

:thumb: Camera's and microphones everywhere. She was venting after a loss. Before all this went viral, how much did this upset the receivers when she actually said it to them? Maybe this is how they communicate all the time after games....

1. A.

2. D, but I don't think we should ever use LRCW's way of doing something as the right way. :D

I don't know numbers, but I've heard numerous times that she's worth quite a bit more.

Ram, another thing you're failing to see is that her comments weren't anything bad.

You're trying to make it seem like she threw the receivers under the bus, that she said something awful about the organization. What she said was the same thing I've heard many ESPN talking heads saying the past two days. The Patriots WRs dropped a lot of balls. There is no getting around that. Again, what that she said was so wrong and awful?

I've actually heard numbers nearly double his worth, but wasn't sure...:thumb:

Once again, LRCW has taken an argument and turned to be something that it was not in order to gain support for his side of the disagreement.

The argument was not SHOULD he be fined for his wife's comments. The argument was: IS it a common belief that a spouses comments are a reflection of the public persona of the person. If a presidential candidate's wife says, "We should shoot all people that cross our borders", is that seen as a reflection of the president hopeful's belief? Yes it is. If a preacher's wife says, "I don't believe in God and am an atheist", is that a reflection of the preacher? Yes it is, people will say, if he can't convince his wife to believe, how will he convince new church members.

So, the argument is: Is Brady's wife's comments a reflection of Brady? Yes they are. Do I think it's correct? No. Do I hold him responsible? No. But it is, and will be, seen as a reflection of Brady. Will he be fined by the Patriots for violating their self imposed gag order to not speak down of the organization and players? I don't know. But, I could see it happening, because it does portray the Patriots in a negative light, and thusly violates the spirit of the organizations contract to not cause negativity within the organization.

I swear to goodness you backstroke quicker than Michael Phelps. The argument is exactly as I presented it on here, and you know that it is Ram. Answer me this one question for everyone.

What was our bet?

That's because I didn't know her name, and didn't want to look it up.

I don't think they are bad, heck, I don't care about her comments. LRCW started the conversations and said her comments had no baring on Brady. He is wrong, pure and simple. Her comments are seen as "Brady's wife said..........."
