Les Miles Rips Gunner Kiel

Agreed! Finally some #realtalk

I like it. Really coach speak is so tiresome (see Marvin Lewis). Les at least is refreshing.

Maybe they can meet up in a Bowl game in the next 4 years...

I am a huge ND fan, and I don't like how Kiel handled the situation. I am a believer that your word should mean something. However, I think sometimes it is overlooked that we are talking about 18 year old's. The pressure to make a life decision at that age can be overwhelming.

What bothers me most about Miles is that Hypocrisy of at all. Three different times in the past 2 years Miles has offered scholarships to kids, which he has then revoked or told them they must Grey shirt. He thinks keeping your word is important when someone commits to him, but not the other way around.

I think Miles is a great recruiter, and good football coach (whith the exception of clock management). He is in a great situation able to recruit any kid in the country with little or no concern of academics or conduct being a detriment to admission. Problem for him is that he competes with Saban year in year out, and in that competition, he will lose more times than not. Saban took over a very poor Alabama team in 2007 and has quickly re-built them into a top 5 team year in year out. My prediction is that Alabama will dominate this series for the next few years. I think Miles is already feeling the pressure, so I will give him some lee way on his comments. I would love to know what he tells those kids who offers he pulls!

Would love to see Gunner face LSU in the near future and beat them down.....Miles has no business calling the kid out and saying he has no guts!!

"Very Poor Bama team", Had a 10 win season and won a Bowl game against Mile Leach right before Nick took over. Nicks first year was weak, but Very poor?

It's different coming from your "head coach" rather than coming from a coach that you now have no affiliation with don't you think??

Please note the smiley, it was joke. :ohbrother:

But since it seems so important to you, I would think a one time insult from a coach, who one will not be dealing with ever again, would be a whole lot less important than the personality of the one he may have to live with for the next 4 years. Maybe not. :idunno:

For those of you saying you want to see Gunner p;ay LSUvand beat them, I highly doubt that game would workout great for Gunner unless we see MAJOR improvement at ND.
