I doubt the cats win by double digits here. LSU while not a great team they aren't bad either and seem to hang with some tough teams. Might be a struggle but cats win by about 7.

Hickey and Teague have very different roles on their teams. You can't compare them off sheer numbers.

That's because everyone always thinks a solid KY born player is 10x better than what they really are. You guys want them to be better than they are and convince yourselves it's true to the point where you guys actually believe it to be true, regardless that all signs point to the contrary.

I love Hickey, but I think its a little silly to say he's better than Teague. Teague leads in more categories, and he plays on a talent filled team where his numbers aren't going to look as good.

 

 

Who has said that? All I have ever said he is as good as. Never said better. Prove to me he isn't as good as Teague. Teague is better because he shoots 41% to Hickey's 39%? Nope. Teague is better because he shoots 69% from the FT line to Hickey's 59%? Nope. Putrid numbers for both if you ask me. Teague is better because he averages 4.4 assists a game(playing with Davis, Jones, MKG, Lamb, Miller) while Hickey averages 4? I'll even add the argument that Teague should average even more assists considering the talent he is around. Teague averages more turnovers and less steals per game also.

 

Long story short, Teague is the more heralded recruit and he may have a pro career that Hickey may not but at this point this year to act as though Teague is better than Hickey just because Hickey is from Kentucky is a disservice to Hickey and what he has accomplished thus far. It's refreshing to see a kid from Kentucky getting his shine on somewhere even if he isn't 'good enough' to play for UK.
