Interesting that Holy Cross (6) and Barbourville (5) each got votes this week and they play each other Thursday in the first round of the All A State tournament.

Are you positive on that? Jason Frakes posts his AP ballot on twitter every week if I am not mistaken and he writes for the Courier Journal. Let me check real quick.

I think the rankings are pretty solid...i cant think of any team i would move, add, or replace...

it will be interesting to see how the state tournament draw goes on friday...i wouldn't mind seeing a madison central and trinity rematch...but it would be a shame if it ended up not being for the championship!

The only team N. Ky. fans might say is missing would be Dixie Heights but they lost their last two. They are still ranked the #1 team in N. Ky. by the local coaches. Only two KY teams have beaten them but the recent loss to Woodford County probably keeps them out of this poll. They have played a lot of tournaments and top competition from outside the state. The rest of their schedule is all N. Ky. teams except a game versus GRC. So the N. Ky. fans will finally get to see how Dixie actually stacks up versus the top teams in N. Ky.

I would have to say, Dixie is the best team in NKY (I did think for a while it might have been Holy Cross). I've not seen any other team on this particular list. Rankings mean nothing, thats why they play the games.

There are 15 voters and only 14 listed. Probably missing the Courier-Journal.
