He is under contract for at least 2 more years but I don't know exactly what it is.

Any one think Belichik's tank is running low?

That's a great question. I have no clue.

I could see him wanting #5 that would be very impressive.

I just don't see him playing after Belichik is gone and the Pats are losing their offensive coordinator after this season.

Also no one has mentioned it yet does any one know what Brady's contract has left in it? This is the kind of stuff that will fill up ESPN in the weeks following the Super Bowl.

They brought back Josh McDaniels though didn't they? With him back they won't skip a beat will they?

Oldest active head coach in the league is Coughlin at 64 with the next group being 59 and including Belichik.

Interesting. I know I gained a lot of respect for him after the two part documentary that was on NFL Network at the beginning of the year. I'll hate to see him leave.

This is true, will certainly be interesting to see how the Patriots draft this year. Wouldn't see them drafting a QB though unless they traded up but they always seem to be in a good position to do that.

Did anyone read the SI story on Brady regarding his Michigan playing days. It was very interesting and talked about where his drive comes from now. His dad wanted him to xfer.

Belichik does seem like a good guy to be honest but he also seems like a guy that can be easy to dislike especially if you don't like his team. I think a lot of people view him as smug or arrogant person when in reality he just does things his way and doesn't care what others expect or feel he should do. Can't fault a man for that at all.

Heard a little bit about it didn't ESPN do some sort of a special on it this past year or so also?

Absolutely. I always felt he was smug like you said but after seeing that documentary my attitude changed. He seems pretty cool and he does know his football. I'm not a Pats fan but I do love their organization and their overall approach to success. I like how they are ran.

I agree with you there I think we saw the same thing. I also feel as though I should like the Patriots because I do like their other teams and absolutely love their City but I just have a hard time liking them. Awkward, I don't hate the Patriots but it's usually easier for me to cheer for the team they are playing against.

Same here.

Same here.

We will grab a beer one of these days.
