Final from Edgewood.

Tie game with 5 seconds left. Hatton drives the length of the floor and gets fouled shooting a 3. LW coach then gets T'd.

Great, great game to watch.

Dixie is still clearly the team to beat in the 9th.

What a game...watch the replay at nkysports.com under our webcasts link.

Hatton player of the game with 25.

LW played without their best player, Ross, and a couple other guys but still a very good win. Blue, Barnes, and Boykins are as good a trio as you'll see.

Boykins is their best player...

At the beginning of the the year I questioned Parker Stasberry's ability to play "big" inside. I was wrong. Two huge blocks tonight. Played tough.

Dixie has so many weapons. They do love the 3's.

This region may not be as wide open as some believe. I'll be suprised if there is not a repeat champion.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Dixie if the 3's are not falling.

STill think Dixie wins the ninth. Too many prime time players.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Jordan Fox would ever get more aggressive Dixie would be a no-brainer for the 9th. He has a strong handle plus big shoulders that will allow him to get the rim often. For some reason he doesn't take advantage of it. That has to frustrate the Dixie coaches.

One?

Boykins is their best player...

He very well could be but that wasn't what their coach told me during the pregame... Said they were without their best player (#3) and a few other guys wouldn't play much due to being sick.

Said Ross (I believe is his name) was out with a strained calf.

Ross is a starter, but their 3rd or 4th best player. Plays a similar role to Jackson Blue who played really well last night. Boykins and Williams are their two best players...

I did like LW's guard that had the Mars Blackmon look going.
