I wonder if any of the SK's coaching staff read on BGPs?

 

I hope so! The O-Line has been awful the past 2 years they need somebody to teach those kids how to block.

From what I have heard SK has brought on a coach from Dixie not sure what position he help coach.

This past season SK's QB was probably sacked close to 100 times I really hope they fix this so he has time to pass the ball.

From what I have heard it was the father's decision.

 

I have no doubt, thats all he talked about when the boys were in middle school, Beechwood, Beechwood, Beechwood, and yet they went to SK???

So Beechwood is getting all the Good young talent from Independence? Hmmmm

 

Living in Fort Mitchell only waves the tuition at Beechwood. If you want to pay the outside of Beechwood district fee then you could come from anywhere. It might seem a bit unfair to some but what Beechwood has done is put together sustainable top notch athletic, music and scholastic programs. They have worked hard to give families a reason for wanting to come there for a myriad of reasons. We moved to Fort Mitchell so our girls could get a great education. Unless Coach Rash relents, neither will be playing football.

I think Stringer will stay at SK!

 

I doubt it. The kid is smart and super athletic and will go where he can get the best of both worlds. Not that SK is a bad place to go, it's just the Beechwood is a power in both sports that he excels at and is excellent academically. In terms of baseball (i know it a football thread;, but baseball is his best sport)) Sk is probably his 3rd choice at best due to the fact that he played baseball select baseball for many years with a certain new coach in a nearby school....and no way he ends up at that school.

 

Even without him, there are many solid kids coming up through the NKYFl team and the future looks pretty good, with those kids and a few good players coming from Twenhofel and Summit view. Those kids won't contribute at the varsity level next year, but the varsity team will certainly be better than last year.... .500 isn't out of reach

Well hopefully the kid looks at what happen to Crane going to Beechwood all he did was end up back at SK as the starting RB.

Totally agree...lose a little off the line that didn't play as a unit anyway, plus they have most of the skilled position players back. Lose alot that was on a solid "D", but Bowling should be 1 of the best LB's in the area and Landrum, Krallman should compliment well. Replacing "D" line might be an issue. What Mills did might take 2-3!

If Kuntz gets time, he has a very nice group of receivers to throw the ball to. The kid does have a cannon on his right shoulder just needs to keep his uniform clean for a couple of quarters for the confidence to match the potential!!

Doubt they are looking for a new coach considering Marksberry is the AD. Most public schools have the same issue, the talents is cyclical, you seem to get a run of great kids for two or three years and then the fortunes turn. SK has a great facility and a pretty solid staff in place, the grapevine says that the next few classes are pretty solid...so SK should be back to .500 or better next year (IMO).

 

He said are they looking for new coaches, I thought he was asking if they were looking for assistant coaches? I would assume every credible poster on here would realize SK isn't looking for a new head coach unless the current head coach/AD quits, leaves or so on and so on.

Bowling should be one of the best LB's in the state this year he had a great year even though his hand was hurt most the season and still ended up with 95 tackles.

What gets me about these kids is that they were planning to go to Beechwood anyways before they started High School, so why did they go to SK for freshman year?

No truth to that statement, the kids had no plan on attending Beechwood when the year started, but they changed their mind, those things happen.
