January 23, 201214 yr Randy Moss had a little to do with that. Brady has never wowed anyone with his arm strength. You need to reverse field. Tom Brady just doesn't woork for your argument. Moss did have something to do with it obviously. However he wasn't throwing the ball down field was he? He wasn't breaking records for throws over 20 yards was he?
January 23, 201214 yr Moss did have something to do with it obviously. However he wasn't throwing the ball down field was he? He wasn't breaking records for throws over 20 yards was he? Yep. And every QB in the league can throw the ball 50-60 yds. They don't have Moss on the other end. I really don't want to dismiss the accomplishments of Tom Brady. However his plaque in Canton won't read, "one of the strongest arms ever."
January 24, 201214 yr Author I'm so tired of you. I have never said he should look like Hall of Famers Brees or Montana every game every throw. I've questioned if he has a good enough arm to make all of the throws. He also was terrible against the Rams and Cardinals. Where were they on your neat little list of good defenses? Trust me I am just as tired of you, and your arguments that you have very little to back you up. Your arguments of well scouts said his arm was weak coming out, so shows he won't ever be much in the NFL. Even though you have chosen to ignore that a lot of the scouts have since said his arm is stronger than they thought after seeing him play in the NFL. Your arguments about putting down a QB, and giving little credit to the defenses he played this year. Giving little credit to being a rookie, with his best receiver being a rookie, his OC being a rookie in the NFL. An OC you don't think is good, because the players picked it up early. So you would think he did very well overcoming that bad OC you talk about. I have made a comparison to Brees because they are about the same size, neither has rocket arms, but good enough arms to go with their smarts. Brees however sucked his first two years, before learning how to play in the NFL. Brees is a perfect example of a guy who does not need a rocket arm to be very successful, because anticipation and throwing before they come out of their breaks is just as important in throwing the ball. Brees is going to be a HOF so I am not going to say he will be as great as Brees, but Dalton is a guy who can at least be similar to him. Especially considering all the things Dalton had going against him this year, he still did pretty decent. So more reason to think he will end up having a very successful NFL career than not.
