I'm very interested in seeing the Saunders/McGovney matchup. IMO, Justin doesn't get the credit he deserves, maybe due to the injuries he has sustained thus far this year. I think those two will balance each other out. Joe Jennings will be the key player in this game. I think he'll have a big game, and Brossart will pull it out. I'd be surprised if it was in double digits though.

Always at the middle school--Neither CC or BB gyms can handle the crowd. Actually, normally the MS gym normally can't either. Should be a good one.

However, knowing who the key player is, and who we have to stop, and having a few days to prepare for him, shame on us if we allow that to happen. I like the later poster who says we hold him to 18. Will certainly be a challenge, but we take pride in playing defense and limiting players that run roughshod on others.

He is a Ruthsatz type player. He is going to get his and if he gets hot he could get a lot. I just dont see the supporting cast at CC. Maybe Code says, give McGovney his and let the rest of those guys beat us. If they go that route they still win. Brossart has too many options.

While the event annually draws large crowds I can't remember a recent Crosstown that sold-out and/or turned folks away.

This is truely a compliment to McGovney. Holding someone to 18 points! Most players are luck to score that many points once or twice a year!
