January 19, 201214 yr I was discussing with a friend of mine who shares my opinion that the GOP isn't going to dethrone Obama in 2012, regardless of who the nominee is. We both think Romney has the greater appeal in the General Election, but he isn't going to win either. Which is why, if I had my druthers, I want Newt. Solely for the debates. If Obama's going to win, at least let me be entertained while he wins. Earlier last year Gingrich stated he would challenge Obama to a 3 hour debate with no moderator. He would give Obama fits in an open debate. It would be very entertaining to say the least.

At best, that makes him a hypocrite, and he's being called out for it as such. But my point is if the left was OK with it when it was their Golden Boy aren't they the ones being hypocrites by making such an issue out of it with Gingrich?

Honestly, I don't think any faction holds an edge over any other in terms of hypocrisy. There's plenty of that going around.....and very generously.
