I saw that. Personally, I think the "he's really good when his knee is working" theory probably has more credence. All he's proving to Dwight right now is that he'll never get the ball

Reports say Al Horford has a torn pectoral and will miss 3-4 months which is pretty much the entire season.

God, I hope that's not true.

You see the interview where someone asked him if he could score like that with Chris Paul and he said that he'd score 40 points a game with Paul because he would find more shots for him.

Not so sure I would agree with that all the way considering he used to handle the pressure pretty good in Cleveland when it was all on him. People talk about his 4th quarter struggles since the Finals last year but people forget about him scoring 32 straight for the Cavs to close out a big Conference Finals win against the Pistons. Or the game winner against the Magic, or all the other winning moments late he had for the Cavs. I just really think he has had trouble adjusting to center stage in Miami, maybe its because it was already D-Wades team, maybe it's because he's trying to do other things, maybe it is because he is scared. I just know he doesn't have the same killer go for broke instinct late in games for the Heat that he did so many years for the Cavaliers. The reason for that I don't know, but to act like he has been this way late in games his whole career is just not accurate.

LBJ still had his fair share of odd performances in Cleveland. He is just under even more of a microscope now. And he came up the smallest last year when the Heat needed him the most. Really anything he does between now and up to the Finals is inconsequential to me.

Go back and read my posts. I never said he acted like that his whole career. Just in the last year. Better yet since his last series as a Cavalier he has seemed allergic to pressure. My theory is he left Cleveland to get away from the pressure of leading a team to a championship and so far he has seemed to become awfully passive when it comes to finalizing a victory on his own terms.

And this may change, but it is simply just not who James is. Some guys are naturally born with that killer instinct and some are not. I believe it was a big reason he went to Miami. And that is perfectly fine. Some guys are clutch, some are not. James has had the world heaped upon his shoulders - some could argue to the point of it being unfair - where he was supposed to exceed the expectations of anyone's imagination. I think we desperately want him to display more in these moments because you can tell how gifted he is. The most physically gifted player I have ever seen. I think his departure to Miami was a way indicative of his intangible qualities.

Yep. I couldn't agree more. I still like him a lot and will always enjoy watching him play. I am definitely guilty of wanting him to fulfill my expectations of who I think he should be.

Prediction: Unless LAL pick up DHoward this season is going to kill the rest of Kobe's career. He is so competitive that this shortened season is going to take alot out of him.
