December 19, 201114 yr I can't wrap my mind around the fact that people enjoy snow. The first one is cool, the rest are just annoying. I have to brush off my car, scrape my icy windows, get snow in my shoes, in my sleeves, all of my shoes get destroyed, my floors in my house are disgusting from the salt off of people's shoes....there are so many more cons to snow than pros. Agree 100%!
December 19, 201114 yr I dont want snow but I did buy a snow blower a few weeks back..................................
December 19, 201114 yr Whats wrong with snow, I love snow. I miss the days of driving the plow truck at 3 am so everyone could get to work the next day.
December 19, 201114 yr If you'll recall, it was around 60 degrees in greater Cincinnati last year on New Years Eve...then it dove down for the "winter temperatures" starting the first week of January. We hardly ever get snow on Christmas. Historically, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration puts our chances of having a white Christmas at about 10%. Sure, we get our occasional arctic blasts and frosty mornings - even some semi-rarefied snowfall in November and December, but all in all, it seems like the current weather is pretty much business as usual. "Winter" is in January and February.
December 19, 201114 yr I thought the forecast was for a snowier than normal winter and to start early like last year, this is the most depressing December,weather-wise, I can remember in a long time, not evn a surprise snow in November or anything. Are we even going to have winter this year, upper 50's this week, are you kidding me? I was thinking they were calling for a warmer and wetter winter in the Midwest.
December 19, 201114 yr I had heard a colder, snowier winter than normal. I hate to complain about these temperatures because if it's not snowing, then I'd prefer it stay warm. However, I always like to get at least one good snowfall a year. I live close to work though, so I don't have to do much driving in it!
December 20, 201114 yr I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get out of Kentucky after college, mainly because of the awful weather. Like Southern Ohio/Indiana?
