The All "A" State Tournament brackets were released today via their http://www.allaclassic.org website.

 

The "A" State tournament will be held this season from January 26th to 29th at the Frankfort Civic Center.

 

The 8th, 9th, and 10th Regions have all drawn into the bottom bracket.

Any idea on who the favorites are from the different regions?

In the 12th Region, the boys favorite would appear to be Somerset. Danville and Burgin both have nice teams this season, too. And Monticello is the host so it's hard to count them out. But if I were a betting man I'd pick Somerset.

My guess is West Carter from the 16th. I suppose Fairview could give them a run.

I will assume that Bishop Brossart will be the favorite out of the 10th!

Holy Cross and Newport Central Catholic appear to be the frontrunners in the 9th.

Owen Co. just beat Gallatin with out either of the Williams playing. They are probably the slight favorite at this time, with Gallatin and WV. (Owen plays Gallatin in first round of their region with WV on the opposite side of bracket).

I agree with this but you can't count GC out at tournament time as long as John Jones is there.
