At this point if you are looking at going to play for him at all you know it's like The Junction Boys of this centurty. He's hardcore! He's also as good as there is as a coach IMO as far as coaching D+preparing kids for the NFL.

I don't call me a Christian, Jesus does. Look at the sources where it was written, other players say different. Nick spent the nite with him in the hospital. Didn't read that part did you. And why now? 6 years later?

If the player doing the interview, along with 4 other NFL lineman are carrying the collapsed player to the training room, how in the world did Saban step over him? What was Saban supposed to do? Get the 5 players carrying him to stop, so he could give his medical assesment? Saban may very well be a narcissist. , just like 90% of your other great coaches, but I think this is just a case of a former player trying to get back at Saban.

I am not real surprised by this. Saban like many other great coaches don't seem to have "all the tools in the shed" when it comes to human decency. What is just as bad is some people in our society tolerate it because they win.

I'm sure we aren't getting all of the info from this article. This player is probably quite biased against Saban and is using this as an opportunity to get back at his former coach a little bit. Did Saban go upstairs and call in medical personnel? Or did he do absolutely nothing to help the young man?

 

Larry, can you post a link regarding him staying the night in the hotel with the player? I feel that is solid evidence that he cares.

Anytime I posted a link my son did it for me, I was told this by a website owner. I'll try to find the site article and get it on here, but in the mean time try anything about the tornado and Bama's team. I'll also add this no program is bigger than the one man, and if Coach Saban still had these issues he wouldn't be at Bama.

 

I could add some things I've heard from actually Bama folks about Coach, nothing as bad as this deal. The best Alabama website Tidefans.com didn't allow any posts on this issue, they just say its Bama/Nick haters, and using the 6 year time span as a good question why now?

 

But do we remember, Bo/Woody/Lou/JoePa/Bear in younger days and more having a different type of behavier? Bobby Bowden was a nice person.
