If Dave Brossart becomes head coach at Dixie then there will be no change in the team. He is a main reason that team could never click, he is a head case and not a very positive coach. Kids don't respond well to him and I don't think the underclass men would be happy with that. Dixie needs to clean house and go a completely different direction and bring in an outside coach who can turn the program into a power house were it needs to be.

Agree or Disagree?

I am not close to Dixie but I disagree. Anyone else?

I have no opinion on him personally because I don't know the man. However, if you look at the results at the last two places where Brossart has been, I would not be naming him head coach if I were the Dixie AD.

Dixie just needs to start over fresh with a new staff. The old staff did a VERY poor job managing a wealth of talent over the years..............nobody does less with more better than the Red Colonels.

I think you have to look at what Coach Brossart has done as a head coach and then the results are mixed. He had success at Finneytown (OH) but not at CCH.

While he didn't tear it up at CCH he won about as many games as most expected.

I agree, he didn't have a Blake Bir or Gabe Gray when he had the Colonels. Those teams really lacked overall talent as a team IMO. When they started losing in Ft Wright the first place they look is the new coach.

So is Brossart the #1 being tossed around for the head coach? Who elses hat is in this race?

While I am close to the situation, I know how my son and other players feel. Brossart is a good guy. If selected, ok. Not #1 choice.

As I stated in another thread, if Brossart is given the head job, mediocrity still the norm. They need a staff to bring some life to this program. I mean no disrespect to Spritz.

Probably no different than when they start losing in Highland Heights.

What High School is in Highland Heights or are you refering to NKU .

Unfortunately I agree. However the talent doesn't always stick around, many times they quit the team during a season. And of course one could look at it as you don't want quitters on the team. But if those quitters are many talented players, there certainly is a problem.

It's the one right by the one that's in Ft Wright.
