November 28, 201114 yr Looks like someone wrote an article about PMS: http://www.scoutsfocus.com/a/pikevilleky.html One of my bosses at work (just moved to Pike County from Key West Florida last Spring) was asking me about this earlier and I was telling him it happened a couple weeks ago and I guess I had forgot to mention it. Said he saw it on CNNSI or something like that so this is becoming national news now. I can't imagine cancelling the season over this. Anyone from Pike County knows there is about zero chance Pikeville gets its season cancelled. No way it happens. Even though Pikeville is an independent school and has its own independent school board, Pikeville still runs Pike County. Only chance they would have at actually having the season taken away from them would be had this score been against one of Belfry's feeder schools (being there is a heavy Belfry influence at the Pike Co. BOE). They may talk like they will do something to keep everyone happy but let's be real, they're not going to do anything to Pikeville. Lord forbid a bunch of "counties" actually trying to take their season away, and it's that same attitude and sense of entitlement that will not result in any kind of play ban for Pikeville IMO.
