Is this on Friday? What other teams and changes? Do you have the updated list of teams and times? Thanks. I plan on going to this and want to make sure, I don't miss some games I want to see.

If you hear any more news, let us know....thanks.

Cov Holy Cross vs Lou. Male on Saturday. Not sure of time but its in Louisville.

HC is playing at Male HS, but against Collegiate. I think it is a Pan-O-Rama at Male much like these others posted here.

Not saying LaSalle is bad by any stretch, but they did lose several from last season's team. They won't be the favorite to win the GCL this year, as Moeller is clearly the top team in the league on paper.

I was just about to say that they lost many of their key players, but they have a great program, so I am sure they will be good again, but probably not near what they were last year. Should be a great game though.

Checked out Boone's scrimmage against Colerain. Did OK. Not great. Short bench right now. Not very big. 4 guards and Zane M. Zane showed some nice moves in the post when he faced up. Stanley shot well.

Got some text updates.

Highlands 41

south laurel 37

Apparently the Birds were subbing freely and had 5 frosh with them. Not to mention they were missing all of the football players.

The best scrimmage in NKY looks to be Dixie vs LaSalle on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I will be out of town. Hate to miss this one.

Didn't LaSalle win the D1 championship last year in Ohio?

Dixie lost all five quarters. Fox looked overmatched. LaSalle is well coached and played very hard.

GRC scrimmaged North Oldham today.

No score for 4th quarter. North Oldham is a good team, I was impressed with GRC's play today. Lots of new faces and lots of different combinations for the Cards.

Derek Willis had 24 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks as Bullitt East beats Trinity in scrimmage at Sheldon Clark.

In scrimmages at Highlands they played two 20 minute halves with stopped clocks. College style basically.

Cooper defeated North Laurel- Both teams have very nice size. NL has a couple big post players and a very good PG. Cooper has some very strong kids who can get to the basket.

Simon Kenton defeated Pendleton County- They really put it to them in the 1st half winning 51-25. The 2nd half was closer and I think SK ended up winning that 40-36. Chambers looked very good for SK and they are fast and get after it all over the court.

Highlands (shorthanded and missing 10 football players) defeated Lewis County. They won the 1st half by 6 pts and ended up winning the 2nd half by 8. They played a lot of freshman and inexperienced sophs. Juniors Witte, Gronotte, Carter and Hinkel led the Birds. They run and gun the entire game and press all over the floor. They will be fun to watch once the football athletes get back.

Lewis County has an 8th grader (not sure of his name) but he is very very good and will be a player to watch in that Region. He has great balance and a very tight handle. He shoots the ball very well and is a scorer. Watch out for this young man as he physically develops and gets better. If anyone knows his name I would love to know as he will be one to watch.

And now on to the season!
