I really can't complain too much about this list. I think it is a fair assessment of where they all are today. I would put Dirk at 4, Kobe at 5, Paul at 6 and Durant at 7. I understand why everyone is ranked where they are though. Probably put Carmelo at 10 instead of Blake also.

 

And yeah, the NBA lockout is killing me. We should be seeing preseason highlights right now.

Griffin is rated too high, for sure. I like Melo at 10 as well.

Personally, without putting too much thought into it, I'd drop D-Wade to #5, I'd put Dirk ahead of Paul, and I'd drop Kobe below Derrick Rose, making my top 10 look like this...

 

1. Lebron

2. Howard

3. Dirk

4. Paul

5. D-Wade

6. Durant

7. Rose

8. Kobe

I'm trying to wrap my head around Howard at #2. I kind of get why he is #2 but he wouldn't be my #2 pick. I just don't know why I don't like his game. Very dominant player on both sides of the ball. Can't figure out why I don't like him at #2 more than other players.

While Griffin is a very good player and a SUPERB athlete, how anyone could justify him being one of the top 10 players in the NBA is beyond me. I would also have KD higher on the list.

I read an article earlier this week where Howard pretty much admitted he is done in Orlando. He didn't say it officially but he definitely inferred that he is done in Orlando. I'll try to find the link. I think it is an Esquire interview or something.
