What have you seen this year to make you think I'm incorrect on my declaration?

Im not saying that HC will, but I think NCC will have a harder time with this team than they think. If they are looking ahead to Beechwood, this could be very interesting

BW does not impact their playoff seeding. Zero chance they're looking ahead.

Holy Cross hasmade some changes. They have a few kids playing only def that were playing both ways early in the year. This will be a good game but it will not suorise me as much as you if HC wins.

Hc will score but their D gives up to much and NewCath still has to many options with the ball for HC to stop. Close first half, Breds run away in second.

With the exception of 2 schools I root for HC more than others so I hope the change helps.

 

It will be a telling game as HC has not fared well against the few solid teams they've played this season. This game will let us know if they're a legit thread to make a 2A run to BG.

Is this game the "Super Bowl" for HC every year?

Since the 6 class system was put into place, it is probably their biggest rival due to the impact the game has on their season. Calling it a "Super Bowl" is probably a stretch because this game doesnt determine the end of HC's season. However, NCC should be used to people thinking that playing them is a huge game for their opponent's season due to the amount of success NCC has acheived. When you have proven you are the best, everyone wants to bring their 'A' game

No, it's not a "Super Bowl" for HC. NCC is HC's biggest rival because this regular season game determines seedings (1 or 2) in the playoffs. Plus, NCC has had HC's number over the past several years. HC has the same mental barrier with Beechwood (even worse since they have never beaten them), although not currently in the same Class. HC has never been to the "Super Bowl". I'm sure that reference is the same for any KY high school; namely, to play in the KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl at WKU in December!
