Talked to one of the players dad last night. Some one slashed his tires sometime friday. What is going on?

There is no excuse for that,but probably doesn't relate to football. How do you think TJ will handle the video's promoting drug use,degrading women,homosexuals, and language not acceptable in society. Suspension for the Paintsville game would be laughable,as the 2nd string could compete. I know Raceland will do what is right and handle it, but once it is on the internet,youtube,the problem and apologies are needed for the entire world. This is representing Raceland.

Haven't checked it out yet. Don't know if I really need to. With what I have read on here it must be really bad. And for that I apologize for all who it offended. Don't know who did it. Don't really want to know. But I will find out through friends. I know the coaching staff and school adm will handle this the right way know matter who it was.

Congrats to all of the FAIRVIEW EAGLES. Very good team that hits hard. Plays hard and very aggressive. Thought our defense looked very good. The last five minutes of the game the offense put the defense in almost impossible situations. Good teams will do that to you. You can't drop passes in the endzone. Get the ball inside the thirty a few times and not score. It will come back and bite you. We kept the eagle offense in check for the most part. Littlejohn is the man. Very impressive player. We had him wrapped up in the backfield a couple times and he broke all the tackles and run for td's. Hopefully we can meet again!

What they did was wrong but all you seem to worry about is if they play your Devils. Let Raceland take care of there problems and maybe you can look out of your own glass house. Just saying....

Some serious counciling, and teaching of whats right and wrong and maybe classes in tolerance and respect for women,and most important that drugs are bad. On youtube, it is a wordly problem created at Raceland, so its beyond football.

 

Back to the game,as I heard most of the replay, I do think the teams are about even, a few breaks here and there was the difference. I do hope they play again,should be a great game.

Here is my issue, this is a thread about a great football game between two quality problems. If discussion about the videoneeds to keep going perhaps it needs its own thread and let's keep this one related to the game, which was a very good defensive show by both teams.

and maybe tire-slashing as well? or just the video? believe me it has its own thread to the local media who will handle it.

I'm not defending the video or the kid's actions completely, but it is a rap song. Its going to be vulgar. Have you ever met or talked to any of the players in the video? Are you around many high schoolers, because many talk like this and about things like that without really meaning it? I'm not condoning the video or what was said, but I don't think its time to burn these kids at the stake. They made a mistake in making the video and putting it on the internet, and I'm sure someone may find a way to save it and it could be embarrassing for these kids for a long time. But why beat a dead horse, unless you really don't want them to play against Russell? Addressing this repeatedly is a disservice to Fairview, who just beat their rival and basically won the district championship and who the thread is really about.

Let's keep this one on the topic of the game and the game only. If you want to discuss anything else, give it it's proper title in the proper forum. Anything else but game discussion will be deleted, and any offenders will be on the outside looking in. This will be the only warning in this thread.

I guess playing the hard schedule is yet to pay off,but Raceland has a fine team and will do well. The teams played even,congrats to Fairview for playing just a bit better. I have read a few things saying Maynard was outcoached, but as of yet have seen no examples by anyone. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS AND HOPE INJURED PLAYERS ARE DOING WELL AND GETTING PROPER TREATMENT

How do you get out coached when you have the perfect defense set up and the running back in dead in his tracks. Wrapped up in orange three yards in the backfield. Then a kid with so much fight and determination fights through all those trying to bring him down and scores on long runs. Is it getting out coached? Or is it that the running back simply wanted it a little more on that play. Littlejohn broke the backs of the RAMs with his fight to score. The coaches on both sides did a great job of coaching. Was it the coaches fault they had the perfect play called on two pass plays and one was dropped in the endzone and the other miss judged. Was that the coaches fault for the dropped passes?

As for bthis game and Raceland being "outcoached", I believe the Rams had 5 turnovers, two while going in for what looked like certain scores. One other sure TD pass was droped and even another a defender from Fairview made one heckuva play in batting a td pass away. A coach didn't turn the ball over, drop passes and/or miss blocks/tackles. We (Raceland) got beat, I for one won't make excuses or point fingers. Raceland fans imo are not like that and leave all that to someone else.

Raceland had the chances. Fairview made the plays and Raceland didn't, end of story. This one imo could have been the other way. Congrats again to Fairview.

Like I said before, Fairview got the ball in the hands of their playmakers time and time again and Raceland didn't. I know I ruffled some feathers on here or fur if you will. Week after week you guys sugarcoat everything and make more excuses for everything. If you have a problem with what I'm saying, than have my membership revoked, I could care less!!
